We came to this restaurant at least 5 times last year. I loved their pamplemousse dessert. The food was good then. This year, no more butter serve with bread, food was mediocre, and we were told that the chef has changed. We usually stay in France for 3 months each visit, but we will not be going back to dine.

The sommelier was knowledgable and the wine list was extensive and weighted toward more expensive bottles. Our entrées were good, and the flavor of the roasted pork for two that we shared for the main course was good, but the pork was so difficult to cut that it made eating it a chore and detracted from our enjoyment of the meal.

Very good food for the price, specially with The Fork's promotion. Place a little too busy, tight and noisy though. Service was good untilll the waiter "forgot" the discount when he brought the bill, which didn't look like just a mistake.

We spent a few days in Paris with a group of foodie friends and decided to stop at Le Colvert for lunch. The experience was truly amazing—the food was refined and beautifully executed. On top of that, the wine list is absolutely superb, complemented by a fantastic sommelier who truly knows his craft. Without a doubt, this has to be one of the best values in Paris!

An exceptional lunch of 3 courses for €36, each course light enough to make the next one welcome. Beautifully presented on the plate, and full of fresh flavors. The ambiance is perfect: elegant & refined, yet warm. It is tucked in a lovely little corner of the 5eme near the river, a few doors down from Mariage Freres, but the clientele at lunch were chiefly Parisians, probably many from the small publishing houses that honeycomb the area. We looked with desire on the a la carte menu for the evening, and plan to return to savor each dish until we have tasted them all.
