Out of the hustle and bustle of the city, but close enough to getting there by foot, this little restaurant offers the best food we ate in our trip to Como lake. The food was delicious and interesting, all served in a special way. The service also was kind and generous. We enjoyed the nice ambiance and had a great time.

The customer didn't adhere to the menu policy, which requires two dishes per person. Despite this, no surcharge was added to the bill. The waitress was professional, but the customer failed to follow the guidelines.

The meal we had at Comi107 may have been the best we’ve ever had. The risotto was unique and top notch, and we enjoyed our lamb and beef second courses. To end, we had the lemon tart, which was incredibly flavorful and beautiful. The wine was excellent, and the service was perfect. Cannot recommend this little restaurant enough!

We were greeted by the chef because apparently the waitperson was late(?), but he made us most welcome even though the restaurant itself wasn’t quite ready for us… Shortly afterwards the lights went on & the waitperson arrived… we were well looked after & overall the chef had achieved a very good level of culinary excellence- the only disappointing thing though was that the fish of the day was for me overcooked- I consider it should have been no more than medium rare. Perhaps the chef had thought differently- or … an error? But it tasted fine & so it wasn’t sent back . The elegance of presentation wasn’t too extreme so as to be irritatingly finessed - a common feature of a great deal of refined food in European cuisine I have found. One interesting feature was that all food was cooked with very very little ( or no!) salt. In Italy not uncommonly, alas, too much salt is used in commercial cooking- a bad old thing still happening . Highly recommended.
