What a really good experience. The francesinha was very tasty and the cheesecake very good.

The server doesn't speak English although he claimed to speak English. We were a group of four, decided to share two entrees, ordered a wine, I asked for a sangria and they brought one liter without confirming with us. Only one person was going to drink the sangria and they brought one liter, when we clarified it was one glass, the one liter was taken away and he poured a glass in return. When we paid the bill, the server informed us that he would charge the one liter which I felt was unfair because he could have refilled my glass if I was being charged. They knew we were tourists and I felt like I was being ripped off. The food is average nothing outstanding, you can find this anywhere in Coimbra, perhaps even better. They do not accept international credit card and we were forced to pay cash.

Good afternoon my dears. The waiter did not speak English as one of the four members of your group could speak Portuguese. As for the order, they not only shared the starters but also shared two francesinhas between the four, which is why they were a little less satisfied (it is not a dish or pan). How much you were charged here is a summary of what was paid: 1 Porco Francesinha=11€+ 1 Francesinha de Novilho=11€+ 1 Papa Figos Wine=14€ + 1 Glass of Sparkling Sangria=5€ + 1 Coca-Cola=1.5€ + Bread=2€ + 1 Olives=1.5€ + 1 Paté=3€ and Tapas=6€. Adding everything together gives a total of €55 which is how much they paid. As you can see, it is FALSE that a sparkling wine sangria was charged in the amount of €15 (even if you did so at the time of the order, but we take this into account and we only charge the glass of sparkling wine sangria. We regret that we do not accept international cards as our banks charge exorbitant fees for transactions with them. I hope I was enlightening. The management

Really good typical food for a very good price! A bit annoying that you can only pay by card if it's a Portuguese card... But still I recommend this restaurant! Just bring some cash!

The expectation was satisfied...it is a tavern and the main dish is enough to fullfil a medium man. The waiters are nice. Unique Point Of improvement is the dessert that was not properly top.
