9/10Lovely setting, service although off to a rocky start was overall was excellent thanks to Fernando. Food was overall very good but not exceptional. Excellent wine list with great local wines. Restaurant has the potential with a few wrinkles to be ironed out.

10/10The environment of this restaurant, in a lovely hotel in a restored palace, is outstanding. The cooking is inventive and the wine selections are sophisticated. Most pleasing for us was the warm hospitality of Eduardo and Fernando. They are very fine gentlemen indeed.

9.5/10An impressive period dining room in this well presented and maintained hotel. First class, friendly but professional service provided by the team in the restaurant. An interesting wine list, with a strong feature of excellent Portuguese wines. The food was well presented, and quite indulgent. We opted to share a dessert! Well worth a visit.

6.5/10The menu is very limited with the selection of appetizers and main courses. The food service is very slow…from initial seating to receiving the first appetizer it took 50 minutes. Food quality was good, servers were friendly and professional, and they had a nice wine selection. Nice atmosphere inside the restaurant and in the courtyard of the hotel.

We very much appreciated the menu recommendations made by Tito and indeed the attentive service which helped to make the meal a special occasion. Highly recommended. 10/10Lovely dining room. the somewhat bright lighting deters from an otherwise romantic atmosphere. Our entrees were perfectly prepared and creatively presented, highlighting the freshness and quality of the ingredients. (Sea Bass and Octopus). Our waiter was very knowledgeable and professional. His recommendations for wine and entree selections were spot on. My only criticism regarding the service was that he was a bit slow on refilling our empty glasses. Overall a wonderful dining experience and given an opportunity, would definitely return.
