10/10Wonderful food is always expected, but not often delivered at many restaurants. Comes de Ericiera never fails. The dishes served always excel the menu description, and always bring smiles to my guests when they are served. The chef’s amuse bouches are a lovely gesture that is a precursor of the tantalising meal to follow. The Staff make this gem my home away from home, making me and my guests feel welcome on every occasion, whether I have a reservation or not. My favourite table is always waiting for me and Staff somehow remember which dishes or wines or drinks I’ve had previously.

9.5/10Excellent food and service. At the start, they didn't seem to know anyone had a reservation, so that was a tad awkward. The food was great and the waiter recommended an excellent wine. I was a little nonplussed by the decor, which seemed more like something an electrician would design with copper pipes than something elegant enough to go with the food and service. That said, I would go back again.

10/10While the restaurant, which is on the second floor of a 5 star hotel, is a bit hard to find, we were greeted by a charming host and seated (at 830pm) in an empty dining room with comfortable decor and lots of privacy space around each table. The waiter was exceptionally attentive (and a bit silly) and quite professional. My wife especially liked the cushion stool at the table to place her purse - something we had yet to encounter anywhere. The food was above average, though not spectacular. Portions were small, so definitely plan to get an appetizer and a main and dessert. Like all restaurants in Portugal, the cost was astonishingly low for the ambiance and food quality - less than 100 euro. The glass of rosé the waiter suggested was wonderful.

Mr. Fernando made our evening a truly enjoyable experience and elevated it to a higher level with his professionalism and consistently friendly attitude.
