10/10All of the dishes were delicious. They were also large portions, so we inadvertently ordered too much food. The dining room was gorgeous, and the service was outstanding. Highly recommend.

10/10The welcome, the service and the departure was excellent. The food was delicious as well as the presentation. The staff was very adaptable to the fact that someone joined our table. The hotel is beautiful and the ambiance just lovely, the music and the feeling of privacy. It was a treat. Definitely worth a repeat visit.

10/10We had a fabulous meal at Contraband. Every course was superb. The vegetable carpaccio was gorgeous, delicious, and perfectly dressed. The Chateaubriand was exceptional and it was chiseled out of its clay encasement at the table - a unique experience. We totally recommend this gem!

10/10feeling very pleased with the menu, the quality of the meals, the concept and the service. the woman who served me and my girlfriend was very kind and good energy. thank you very much! I intend to go back when I return to Barcelona and I'm definitely gonna recommend the restaurant to Brazilian friends going to Barcelona.

6/10It was ok, but it wasn’t great or a nice experience. We felt that the waiter was judging us just because we were young and didn’t order a lot of stuff. But why didn’t we order more dishes? The answer is simple. All the dishes we were interested in couldn’t be prepared. Salmon, tuna and something else were not available that day. To be honest, disappointing because these ingredients are essential. So overall, the experience can be described as ok, but nothing more.

8/10Elegant setting and friendly staff. But the food was a real dissapointment. Large portions but very bland food. The Meat was highly overcooked and tough. The canneloni almost tasteless and the codfritters ok but also overfried and bland. Superlovely terrass.

10/10This was a fantastic experience. Loved that it is tucked away on a little side street. Atmosphere and esthetic were on point. Romantic, good music, but would also be a upscale place to have drinks with close friends. The food was stellar...who thought I would rave about baked carrots...but OMG! A definite "top-of-the-list" to go while in Barcelona!

8.5/10Atmosphere was superb, the food was good, and different. Our favourite was the barbecued meat cannelloni with wild mushroom sauce. They had a few things they couldn’t serve off of their menu, which meant we couldn’t try the tasting menu, which was a little disappointing.

10/10A fantastic 10 out of 10. You can safely make a booking at this restaurant. Food was delicious and well balanced, excellent wine choices and sublime service. Add the tranquil and cosy atmosphere you’ve got a gem here. Highly recommended and I will return for sure.

9/10The restaurant is really beautiful, it is also a hotel I believe. The atmosphere is very cozy, the music is nice. The pricing is super good, you essentially get a gastronomic restaurant at a reasonable price compared to the rest of the city, at least my impression. It’s definitely worth it for a romantic evening, to invite your partner in a very nice place.

The waiters were friendly and accommodating, but dirty dishes remained on the table for a long time, and when changing dishes, crumbs and drops remained on the table

7/10Great venue, good food - but poor, absent and stressful service. A restaurant in a Small Luxury Hotel - in such unique surroundings - should put more effort in the entire service experience, not in the food/venue only. When you feel you are burden as a guest, it does not feel too good. For the food/venue: go there. For the total experience: drop it.

10/10Wonderful dining experience in Barcelona! Croquettes were savory and decadent and enjoyed the pairing of hummus with fresh vegetables and pita crackers. Get the Iberian macaroni!! Can’t sing its praises enough- this was my favorite dish. Also, if you are not a wine drinker, the mixologist bar tender was excellent. I like wine but my husband does not, this was such a nice edition to our meal. Good service and lovely garden space.

10/10Superb service, extraordinarily creative menu that delivered across the board. Beautiful presentation, wonderful flavours and creative combinations. And the suggested pairings were spot on too. The setting is so lovely as well. This will be one of our favourites to visit again.

10/10We had such a great time tonight, from the incredible range of consistently awesome options. My daughter loved the Burrata and Lamb, while my wife and I were thrilled with the cannelloni and salmon waffle, you can’t go wrong, but our advice: listen to your waiter and let him/her guide you through the evening, You won’t regret it! A+++++

7/10The restaurant is very themed and modern. However I prefer to be sitting a dining table and in a dinner chair when eating and not in a lounge chair. Food quality was very good and the service was just a bit off the level expect in terms of information and suggestions etc.,

10/10Very relaxing, quiet breakfast experience. The staff were very attentive and kind. We sat in the atrium section where canopies could cover if it spotted with rain. Our breakfast was delightful- thank you. A little bit of calm in a busy city!

10/10I just dinned at Contraband. Besides the luxurious atmosphere and the orgasmic food, the staff is everything staff should be. I just let myself be carried away and I asked the waiter to create a dinner for me (started, main and desert). Everything was exquisite! The waiter collaborated with the chef in creating the ultimate dinner and I couldn’t be happier!

10/10Excellent food (perhaps the best we had in Barcelona), excellent and friendly service. Adults only so it was a nice respite from our 3 young kids for the evening. All in all a great experience!

8/10This is a nice, cool restaurant in terms of style - great to have a cocktail or two. While the food was good, I wouldn't recommend it in terms of price/quality. Overly expensive when other locales offer the same quality of food for a bit of a lower price. Customer service was good.
