2.5/10We got fooled into going here based on ‘good’ reviews. Maybe we just went here on a bad day, but after we were seated, it took the server almost half an hour to come get our order. Actually, my son had to flag down the server to even come to our table, which should have been a sign to leave immediately. Another 20 minutes to get our appetizers. The main course came 1 hour 15 minutes after we arrived. We were just about to ask for the check. I wish we had left at that point. The powers above gave us all the hints but we thought the quality of the food would make-up for it. Wrong again. The octopus was bland. The pasta had no flavor but had too much salt. The salmon was the only thing edible. Had to drink "glasses of water' to wash out the salt taste out of our mouths. Left the place with a bad taste in our mouths, literally. Stay away from here. Plenty of great choices in Florence, but not this one. A completely waste of $125.

Good morning, we welcome comments from anyone, of course. But reading that our pasta has no flavor and is salty after all the guests of the day have complimented us, suggests a not very fair review.

Great food. The rabbit meat was delicious and sweetly savoury. Tender and paired with the zucchini and grapes made for a wonderful combintation. The pear and cheese ravioli was an explosion of flavour. Great service and food overall

Food was AMAZING. Pear ravioli the best we’ve had. Eggplant crumble pie out of this world. Egg in pecorino cream fabulous!! Service was just ok they seemed more interested in the Italian “regulars” than us- oh well!

8/10Our experience was quite nice, the place wasn't crowded, we had no one else nearby our table; the music was not too loud and not too quiet; our waitress was kind, polite and attentive in just right amount; the menu lacked vegan options, but a few vegetarian ones were delicious; almost no non-alcoholic beverages. Can recommend.

7/10Our starter or swordfish carpaccio and Secondi of Pear ravioli was nice and fresh. My main of roasted pork was quite dry and disappointing. All staff were friendly and the atmosphere was nice but did request the wine menu to order a glass of wine but noone ever returned to take my order. A nice spot with variable results. Feel recommendations from staff about best, freshest dishes would be helpful

10/10The restaurant was my parents’ favorite place 22 years ago. We visited Florence and found that the restaurant was still here. The pear and cheese pasta was delicious. The owners were very friendly and shared their homemade limoncello with us. Recommend.

10/10I make a point to dine at Coquinarius every time I am in Firenze. The food never disappoints. I especially like the pear and pecorino ravioli, but everyone enjoyed their selections. Our server this year was also especially attentive and kind.

The food was amazing! Flavors delicious. Got the cheese and pear raviolono after reading about how great they were. Get them! A perfect combination of flavors! We also got the avocado tartare which was nice and light for lunch. Highly recommend this place!

10/10We had visited Coquinarius Bistrot twice before the pandemic. We were so pleased to find that it not only stayed in business but has continued to grow and flourish. We enjoyed the perfect start with Eggplant "Parmigiana" with Burrata cream and basil. I ordered Cheese and Pear "Raviolino" with Parmigiano Reggiano Cream since I still vividly remember it and I cannot find its equivalent at home. It was as delicious as I remembered. My husband had Stuffed Rabbit Rollè with beetroot cream, baked zucchini, red grapes and salad. He declared it, "Excellent!" We had a bottle of good house red and finished with espresso and cantuccini con vin santo. The staff was excellent. The atmosphere was cozy yet vibrant. It was a wonderful evening.
