The venue is bright, well laid out and spotlessly clean. Initial impressions were very good. We booked an early slot and it was very quiet. Service was tediously slow; the first course finally arrived, but we were still waiting the beer ordered at the same time as the meal. There was another long gap between the first and main course, then the wrong fish dish arrived for my husband. However he accepted that without any fuss, rather than wait any longer. He said it was cooked okay, nothing exceptional - I sat watching my husband eat, for quite another few minutes waiting for my dish, spaghetti carbonara, which was very disappointing. The carbonara sauce was quite gloopy and lacked any flavour. The dessert of Tiramisu was another letdown. No substance; no flavour at all, a bowl of fluffy cream that only resembled a tiramisu by way of chocolate powder on top, The music - or rather muzak- was tinny and tedious. Completely underwhelming.
