10/10The outdoor sitting is beautiful and romantic. We ordered the gratin aubergine as our starter. My husband had the saltimbocca and I had the Amatriciana both were amazing. We finished the meal off with their homemade gelato, which was very good. I highly recommend this place.

9.5/10The food was excellent, with creative imagination and expertise in the recipe, and just as excellently prepared in the kitchen. The service was competent and attentive. (To our pleasant surprise, we observed how the restaurant management expertly and respectfully corrected and guided the younger service staff in their work - when appropriate. Something we often miss in Rome's restaurants...). The restaurant has its typical Rome charm in the outdoor area, the interior is a bit cramped; but that is no reason at all to avoid a visit. The prices are certainly above average, but justified given the quality of the food. Conclusion: highly recommended, your budget permitting ...

10/10Our first dinner in Rome and it couldn’t have been better. The staff were kind, it was not overcrowded, and the food was incredible. The area around the restaurant is beautiful at night. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone!

9.5/10tucked away in a side street this unimposing restaurant is a true gem. The food is absolutely 1st class. Grilled calamari and the Octopus are both stand out dishes as well as the ever popular cacio y pepe. Definitely save room for desserts. The restaurant Queen was very enthusiastic in her descriptions and with good reason. I'm not normally a dessert person but glad I didn't miss this. Highly recommend

10/10This restaurant was picture perfect! And not only was it beautiful, the service was great- very friendly and professional, and the food was simply delicious. We had pasta dishes to start, and the Chateaubriand for the main which was amazing. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this little gem of a place!

10/10Tucked away in a narrow alleyway at the foot of a picturesque staircase. Not a lot of tables so a reservation is a must. Service was excellent from start to finish. The food was fresh and there were special touches to all of the dishes that gave them a unique and pleasant effect. We went here on the recommendation of a neighbor who visits Rome frequently as an airline pilot.

10/10This was our “Easter Dinner” in Rome. Absolutely blown away by the warm welcome and the high level of the cuisine. All courses were perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. We asked for, and received, excellent wine recommendations. Our only regret was that we were leaving Rome the next morning and, so, could not quickly return for a repeat of this experience. Next trip to Rome, the Cucina del Teatro will be our first dining stop!

8/10Food quality was quite good. The portion and plating were slightly more than decent. But we service definitely had a room for improvement. We had got our steak and appetizer bread at the same time. Even though I'm not Italian but I could know this was an odd order.

10/10Great outdoor terrace tucked off Via Coronarai - one of best old walking streets in Rome. Food was very good. Service attentive. Associated with the gelato place next door - get the gelato for dessert. Some of best in Rome.

8/10It was nice. I litle bit confused, had difficulties communicating with staff in english (could not explain what wine do they have by glass). Bruschetta with ham and mozzarela was great. Lasagna was very average. Drinks seem to be bit overpriced.

10/10I may be over-exaggerating, but I really don’t think I am, when I say that this was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. All around this was the most amazing dining experience. We sat outside and the ambiance was perfect. We got our own pastas and shared the steak for 2 with a bottle of house red wine, It was all DELICIOUS. So good that even though we weren’t hungry after main course, we had to order a tiramisu to try and it was perfect as well. Wait staff was very kind and we did not feel rushed or pressured. HIGHLY recommend Cucina Del Teatro.

9/10Beautiful location when I was there weather is a bit cold think in late April will be great to sit outside. Carbonara pasta is excellent, desert is wonderful, server a bit slow not as attentive, otherwise all went well.

9/10Food was delicious and presented well. Our server wasn’t great and we felt like a nuisance but the other server was lovely, so I think ours was just having a bad day. Didn’t help we had 2 tired and jet lagged kids in tow so we probably *were* a nuisance

9.5/10Very unique and beautiful setting. Small, very welcoming and the food was wonderful! The wine was phenomenal. Our waitress was exceptional (sorry, can't remember her name. She had dark hair and had been waitressing for many years) but the other woman/waitress should not be waiting on customers! Most of the time, she was vaping and the table next to us rolled their eyes at her over the top manner. She also seemed to bully the other workers...keep her in the back and it would be perfect!

10/10Fabulous ristorante off from the touristy areas with food so good, we will be back very soon, like tomorrow! I had the Tonnarelli with zucchini cream and my husband enjoyed the pici alla scoglia and both dishes were the best we have had in Roma after 2-1/2 weeks here. Pistachio mousse for dessert! Alessandro is also very good at wine pairings!
