I was not expecting the mediocre non Italian service. The entree was cold. The staff was not knowledgeable at all. The fact that you were running an Italian restaurant but not a single Italian person working at the restaurant. The place is gorgeous but the food and service didn’t live up to my expectations at all. May be good for a drink during the day time.

The food is excellent (ingredients fresh and carefully selected, and the dishes prepared and presented in an innovative and professional manner). Good selection of wines. Very friendly and helpful service. Pleasant atmosphere. Reasonable prices. Highly recommended!

Absolutely the best meal we had in Rome! The food was beyond delicious – so good that we came back again on our very last night in the city. Everything was fresh, full of flavor, and beautifully prepared. The atmosphere of this charming street restaurant made the experience even more special, with that perfect Roman vibe you hope to find. Out of all the places we tried, this was hands down our favorite restaurant in Rome. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an unforgettable meal!

Unfortunately we did not get to experience the food. Upon arrival we were shown to our table straight away. 10/15 minutes went by, waiters could be seen but no one came to our table once. No menus were offered and no one came over to ask if we’d been seen to. Sadly we weren’t the only table of two waiting. We gave up and left.

The truffle pasta and beef fillet with pepper sauce are excellent. Looking forward to a second visit in my trip!

We had an amazing dinner last night at Cucina del Teatro, a true gem in the heart of Rome. From the moment we arrived, the team welcomed us with warmth and attention that made us feel instantly at home. We started with a delicious burrata served with fresh, flavorful tomatoes, simple yet incredibly tasty. The grilled calamari and octopus were cooked to perfection, tender with just the right char. We paired everything with a chilled bottle of Vermentino di Sardegna, which was crisp, refreshing, and complemented the meal beautifully. Every detail was spot-on, and the atmosphere was relaxed yet refined. The staff were not only friendly but also genuinely passionate about their food and service. We left absolutely delighted and are already planning to return before we leave Rome. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic flavors and warm hospitality.

The octopus is to die for and the beautiful, quant and shaded location made for a perfect retreat on a hot June day.
