10/10a few years ago we ate at curiosa and it was soooo good we kept coming back (from holland to belgium) the host is very friendly as well. you have to make reservations because it is fully booked all the time.

9.5/10The place, which at first seemed gloomy, turned out to be a real find! Incredibly delicious food, excellent service, but most importantly - everything in this restaurant is the work of one single person! He will show you around, tell you about the dishes, prepare and serve you. I didn't expect to find this in the center of Bruges. I definitely recommend visiting!

10/10The restaurant is tucked away in a basement room with a single host/chef/server/bus boy, so we weren’t sure what to expect, but the menu had a range of intriguing options and the food was truly outstanding! All four of us selected different items and none of us wanted to share with each other! From Brie and escargots as starters to mussels, rabbit stew, beef stew and meat kebab for our mains, we all feasted. Overall, the value for money was outstanding and we highly recommend it!

10/10We meant to check Curiosa on Sunday, but it was full and we didn’t have a reservation. So we were quite curious hehe and excited. Food was nice, service was efficient and our waiter very courteous. Definitely recommend 😉

8.5/10The menu and food was of an excellent standard and represented typical Belgian food which was what we were looking to find. Hats off to the hard-working chef Michael who it would seem was running the whole show - perhaps someone to be front of house and be waiting on people to let him get on with what he does best would be my only suggestion. Would definitely recommend.

10/10The food was lovely and the service was good too - not too intrusive but really nice and friendly. Totally unbelievably this restaurant is run by one person and he does it really well. The beef carpaccio, prawns and mussels were particularly good - the warm bread rolls were a lovely touch and the house wine also great - highly recommended- we were a table of 5 and we had a great evening.

10/10We were glad that we booked a table here. We really enjoyed that they didn't stack the space with tables. There was an atmosphere of peace and quiet. The food was great and a nice service.

9.5/10The man running this place does everything by himself - greeting, serving and cooking - and is extremely impressive. He remains attentive to customers whilst delivering tasty, traditional food. A one off experience I’d thoroughly recommend.

10/10We had a wonderful Christmas Eve dinner at Curiosa! Thank you for the delicious dinner, a wonderful home cooked meal! We were so impressed that the owner does it all, served and cooked everything. And everything come to our table hot and delicious. Thank you for making our night so enjoyable!!

9.5/10I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. The food is fantastic, and the vibe is very intimate, perfect for a romantic evening. The restaurant itself is small and only has around 10 or so tables, with a wonderfully quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The host is a one man band; the owner, waiter, and chef are all the same lovely person. He has a lot of work to do by himself so the courses do take a little while to come between each other, but it's definitely not so long that you'd complain - in fact I'd say it's the perfect wait time to whet your appetite whilst you drink the excellent wines he has on the menu (the Luxembourg Riesling is phenomenal)! The Entrecôte is delicious with the Roquefort sauce, and I particularly recommend the Sabayon for dessert. It was the best dish I have ever eaten. Do not miss out on this restaurant when you are in Bruges!

7/10The food was very tasty and the service was very good. However the restaurant had virtually no ambiance. The tables and chairs did not reflect the old sistern like room. The music we listened was directly from a radio station. We thought it would be an authentic place with local food and ambience. The decoration was extremely poor.

Dear, if you have checked the reviews before, you would know that I'm doing this allready 9 months. Untill youre party of 5 last evening I had never had people who left because they had to wait too long, because I seperate the reservations over the evening. For starters, you booked at 18:45 and the first 2 came in at 19:30. The other 3 came in 20 minutes later (actually allready completely wasted), so you were more than an hour too late, before I could start taking your order, never mind that the other reservations were on time and had to be served too. Second I had to run several times to your table for taking your order because you were not ready yet for the food order. When I finally could start with it, we were 30 minutes later. If you or your colleague waited 3 minutes when you came that you would only pay the drinks, the starters would have been on the table, because it was ready. Anyway thanks for the drinks bill of 132 € for 5 people. Have a nice stay in Bruges. Kind regards
