Micheal is wonderful but the food especially the fries weren't great. Went to the toilet and the smell and hygiene in the ladies was horrible, 3rd time I've been here will not be visiting again, clean your act up Micheal.

This place offered us a cozy, personal quiet dinner experience with delicious food. Quiet enough to have a conversation without talking above the din of a noisy restaurant. Excellent starters and mains. We would return for sure!

I was expecting a bit more from this experience, considering the high ratings. Food was tasty, but nothing extraordinary. the offer on the Fork is available to anyone on the restaurant menu, so no big deal here. the waiter/chef/everything was nice, his manicure is awful though...I didn't like the atmosphere, maybe also because on our time slot it was basically empty.

My wife and two teenage daughters had an amazingly relaxed and wonderful meal at Curiosa. Our host, chef and waiter, he was all three, was able to make our meal perfect due to his relaxed, and easy manner. To follow that, the meal was fantastic. The location is bang in the centre of Bruge, which is a busy place, you wouldn’t know it as there is a centre of calm in this magical location.

We booked a lunch time table for two and were delighted to escape the crowds into the cool calm quiet cellar of Curiosa. We were served quickly with great quality local dishes; my wife had shrimp croquettes and I had the fish pot. Much better quality, value and service than the tourist traps in the squares .

This is an excellent restaurant, spacious with a limited number of tables . Booking is recommended. The food and service are first class . Menu is very much Flemish orientated and it shows with the care and expertise that is used by the chef to create the dishes . The restaurant offers a range of fixed priced as well as flexible menus and overall the prices are very good and fair . Beers and wines on offer are good . Wine choice more limited but very good. Well worth a visit , but book .

a few years ago we ate at curiosa and it was soooo good we kept coming back (from holland to belgium) the host is very friendly as well. you have to make reservations because it is fully booked all the time.

The place, which at first seemed gloomy, turned out to be a real find! Incredibly delicious food, excellent service, but most importantly - everything in this restaurant is the work of one single person! He will show you around, tell you about the dishes, prepare and serve you. I didn't expect to find this in the center of Bruges. I definitely recommend visiting!

The restaurant is tucked away in a basement room with a single host/chef/server/bus boy, so we weren’t sure what to expect, but the menu had a range of intriguing options and the food was truly outstanding! All four of us selected different items and none of us wanted to share with each other! From Brie and escargots as starters to mussels, rabbit stew, beef stew and meat kebab for our mains, we all feasted. Overall, the value for money was outstanding and we highly recommend it!

We meant to check Curiosa on Sunday, but it was full and we didn’t have a reservation. So we were quite curious hehe and excited. Food was nice, service was efficient and our waiter very courteous. Definitely recommend 😉

The menu and food was of an excellent standard and represented typical Belgian food which was what we were looking to find. Hats off to the hard-working chef Michael who it would seem was running the whole show - perhaps someone to be front of house and be waiting on people to let him get on with what he does best would be my only suggestion. Would definitely recommend.

The food was lovely and the service was good too - not too intrusive but really nice and friendly. Totally unbelievably this restaurant is run by one person and he does it really well. The beef carpaccio, prawns and mussels were particularly good - the warm bread rolls were a lovely touch and the house wine also great - highly recommended- we were a table of 5 and we had a great evening.
