This is a very unique and quaint restaurant. There are approximately eight tables. The chef does everything. His food is exceptional quality with wonderful flavours and tastes. A definite must visit. Highly recommend making a reservation to ensure that you don’t miss out

We visited as a family of four and had such a lovely time. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, which made it really easy to just sit back and enjoy the meal together. Everything we ordered was great, but the highlight had to be the apple pie — absolutely delicious! Warm, perfectly balanced, and just the right amount of sweetness. Honestly, we’d come back just for that alone. Friendly service, nice vibe, and a great spot for a family outing. We’ll definitely be returning!

The food was average, perfectly edible but a bit bland.

Went with my husband. We ate the 30 euro set menu (baked brie, beef stew, ice cream with nuts and caramel sauce) Also Flemish rabbit which was delicious. The owner/ chef/ waiter was very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our meal and the peaceful, atmospheric vibe of the cellar restaurant. Would go again

Lovely historic building, very quiet - personal. My husband had a huge pot of mussels, which is exactly what he wanted. Freshly baked rolls. I had salmon, also great.

The food was excellent even better than I expected having read the comments. A hidden gem among the touristic restaurants of Brugge

We ordered three plates ( French fries, mozzarella and shrimps and lazzania bollonese) . We know that bollonese is made with minced meat not with cold cuts and unfortunately lazzania came to us with cold cuts . Also the shrimps and mozzarella duo was a too small portion . We are so happy for the fried potatoes that they saved the menu .

I always appreciate it when there’s a constant effort to serve despite the language barrier. 👌🏻

Located in an atmospheric vault in the center of Bruges. This place has a very different feel to some of the places here and does not feel targeted to tourists. A menu of hearty dishes at good value. The food is tasty, fresh and there is something for everybody. As in other reviews service is good even with only one member of staff who seems to do everything.

What a great little find. The restaurant was down just off the main square, you wouldn’t know it was there as it was down in the cellar. The food was absolutely fantastic, I had the mussels with Brugge zot. Excellent pot of mussels. Husband has the Flemish beef stew, again really tasty. Would highly recommend this restaurant! 👍🏻

Very interesting location in a vaulted cellar. Take note there are several very steep steps to get down. The service and food were excellent with so many moules to eat. The only negative was the lack of atmosphere.

We visited Curiosa on Saturday night. There were four of us and it was my husband’s 60th birthday surprise weekend. We were given a wonderful table beside the statue of Joseph and Jesus. Wonderful service. Delicious food. Great service. Lovely 16th century cellar. Just off the main square. Fantastic. Highly recommend. A must visit for all if you want a quiet little tranquil restaurant. We will return.

Lovely setting with beautiful vaulted ceilings, nice art and a warm feeling. The moules were very good, excellent portion sizes and everything felt authentic and not like a tourist trap, though the server was still able to decipher my broken Flemish and help us through ordering. There seemed to be one person doing everything, yet still the service was fast, efficient and friendly and the food came out hot and fresh. Thoroughly recommended.

This is a very small restaurant with only one man running everything, front of house, cooking, serving etc. It is calm, dignified and the food is delicious. A lovely evening spent in this historic converted crypt. Thank you.
