Restaurant opens at 7 and not before! Tuscan food with bilingual menu. Each dish ordered was excellent. Service from staff pleasant, helpful not intrusive. Good wine list including half bottles. Fair prices

We parked at the bottom of the hill and had a peaceful cold, walk to the restaurant. The restaurant was beautiful, warmed by a fireplace we sat next to. Our server was so nice and helped us decide what to get. All of the food was amazing! We strongly recommend this restaurant if you are in the area.

This is not a snobby restaurant, the ambience is really cozy and you feel like at home in the best possible way. Food is really well cooked and nicely presented. All in all for sure a place to go for locals and temporary guests who want to avoid the tourist traps. We would love to come back as soon as possible.

Highlight of our stay in Tuscany, so good we went there two nights in succession! The long, slow roasted pork loin was to die for. Florentine steak with porcine mushrooms absolutely delicious 😋

Our meal was outstanding, including the best gnocchi we’ve ever had. Service was friendly and competent. And the atmosphere was romantic. What a great dinner experience!

We enjoyed this restaurant twice when we were in Tuscany in 2023. We returned now in 2025 and couldn’t wait to return. The food, staff, atmosphere were even better than we remembered. Highlight of our travels!

Large restaurant in a nice garden but plagued by mosquitos……..maybe we were just too sweet. Food was mediocre at best - very touristy - compared to so many other lovely restaurants in the area (…TIP the nicest restaurants are not in Montereggiano village but in the close countryside). Staff were polite but not friendly. Several were unkempt and wearing dirty, food stained outfits which is offputting

We understand that taste and style of cuisine can be subjective, and while many guests enjoy our menu (9.4 of 10 with more then 1000 reviews), we’re sorry it did not fully match your preferences. If you needed a star Michelin restaurant that’s not us. Regarding your comment on staff appearance, our team works hard during busy service hours, and while this can occasionally affect presentation, we will remind everyone of the importance of maintaining a neat image at all times. We value all feedback as it helps us improve, and we hope you might visit us again to experience a more satisfying occasion.

The back patio of this restaurant is absolutely beautiful. It is like eating in a private forest. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. The food is perfect. What a wonderful evening.

Great creative food, not the usual tuscan fare but creative dishes like wild boar with red berries and caper dust or pistachio parfait with lemony crumble. Elegant setting, attentive service, reasonable price.

Great restaurant and experience located in the heart of Montereggioni. Exemplary attention to detail, quality of food and service second to none. They are proud of their offerings and with good reason. Beautiful garden setting in the back

Rude waiters, insolent to us but friendly with other tables. Simple requests were ignored like more water or some grated cheese for a soup. It was hard to understand, really. We were invisible until we asked for the bill. It is a shame because the food was very good but the rest left a bad taste.

Had a nice lunch. Very peace and relaxing lunch with two friends. Definitely will be back and highly recommend.

This restaurant was ideal for us. Easy to find and excellent food and service even if if is quite big and seemed crowded. The excellent Florentine steak made the trip memorable! I would definitely go back.

Really good experience. Had the big Florentine steak and it was perfectly cooked. Wife had the homemade pasta Cacio Pepe. She said it was amazing. Also had desert which might have been the best part. Definitely worth the effort and would go back again for sure. Service was also fantastic and my water glass was never empty, etc.

I have been to Tuscany many times. This was my first time to Da Remo. Extraordinary. A must meal in Monteriggioni. I would rank it a 5++.

This was an utterly unforgettable experience, in a stunning medieval walled town we sat in a spacious semi- alfresco terrace and had a relaxed tuscan feast. I had a first course of pici (giant tuscan spaghetti) followed by a strip steak which blew away any of London's specialist steakhouse at a fraction of the price and washed it down with a glass of barolo. A must visit gem.

Pasta and Lasagne were not fresh. This is not what we expected from a Restaurant like this. I am sorry to have no better recommendation.

We were away from the uk for a couple of months travelling . From Matera eventually to this hill top village. The best food and service we received of the entire journey. A truly wonderful evening helped with our food selection by the most charming Italian waiter, knowledgeable and delightful

After 3 years, we found Da Remo even better than before, effectively only the brave and the strongest can survive…, food are all beautifully presented, taste are delicious as they should be, personals are professional, good looking, especially very kind… we hope you all the best!
