Food was good filler. Arrived late to the city and just needed something. Waiter a bit pushy on antipasto, over sold us on quantity. We ordered pastas - good serving size and taste. When the bill arrived, there were two boxes for tip and the waiter pointed them out to me. This occurred at same time I hand him the credit card. He asked for either a 10% or 20% tip. Hey - thought we were in Europe where there is no tipping? Not going back because of this.

Both my companion and I enjoyed our meal. The battered and deep-fried artichoke bites were excellent and could easily be shared. The tomato which went with the polpettini was full flavoured. The house chianti very acceptable but not a very generous glass. My companion pronounced both his pasta dishes very good. Definitely an above average Florentine dinner
