The global atmosphere was very pleasant, from the welcoming until the last moment. The place is quite relaxed for a Michelin Star restaurant which is very enjoyable. For the food we took the exclusive menu at 225€ and a half wine pairing (4 glasses but half full which is more than enough!) The pairings that evening were mainly with Italian wines really well chosen by Rick. One of the dished was really standing out, the wagyu beek entrecote with truffle cappuccino. Honestly trully. The other one was the hote crispy brioche with salted butter and caviar. Simple and so tasty. Amazing experience which will remain in our minds for ever!

The service was quite bad. Food quality was ok. We informed the restaurant prior to our visit that one guest is lactose intolerant. They did not seem to know that. Then without informing us they changed the first course even though the dish did not contain lactose. The servers did not know why the kitchen did that either. It was very hot that day and they made us sit outside (the indoor area was somehow not open to customers during the day). The entire menu took 4+ hours to finish which was way too slow. At the end we asked for an iced coffee with milk but they gave us an iced coffee with way too much sugar and no milk. We paid 100€ deposit for the meal and the servers didn’t know or check for it either. We had to tell them to amend the cheque. The meal and service at Daalder were not worth the price at all. We will not visit again or recommend this place to anyone.

Would avoid. The food was well cooked and well presented, but… 6 course tasting menu took 4 hours to come out. It was an endurance test with long long waits between anything happening. Not at all enjoyable. I dine frequently at michelin star restaurants, this is not how it is done. The menu is tasty enough, but needs to be redesigned to be deliverable by the small team employed in a reasonable timescale. I am not averse to spending 3 hours dining and have enjoyed doing so on many occasions but those have been 10, 12 or 15 courses, thought is given to the tempo of the meal. The delivery in this case was inadequate. Reading other reviews, I am not the only one to experience this.

Very disappointed in the Service and the time in between servings. We’ve been to quite a few restaurants with Michelin stars and after a long consideration i picked this one for my boyfriend’s birthday. Some of the dishes super good. But it was taking way too long in between servings. Sometimes 25-35 minutes. I also asked for something special since it was my boyfriends birthday and I did recieve an email confirmation about it but nothing happened. Some people who came after us got their servings first Some of the dishes was so good and I was happy with some of the dishes. But other than that, the entire experience didn’t meet my expectations and the reviews I’ve read online. I was expecting more since We are a couple who travels and eats alot. Sorry to say but the entire experience was a disappointment and afterwards I do regret picking this restaurant

We had the 7-course tasting menu, which started well, with delicious dishes and attentive service. Half way through the service declined (25 minute wait between courses) and the food quality dipped. All in all a disappointing performance from a Michelin starred restaurant.

The food was amazing with some pleasant surprise which you expect at a Michelin starred restaurant. Also, the only serving staff did very good job to attend all the tables by himself. The atmosphere was casual and cool, which we appreciated.

A modern restaurant, with music and young staff. The dishes are high quality, the prices are fair. They also have oysters with a nice Wein selection.
