7.5/10Paper thin prawn ceviche was more like carpaccio, it had some garnishes of vegetables, fish eggs and crackers. Red fish was tasty with succotash but I asked for some sambal and Tabasco on the side to space it up. Spanish Chardonnay was rich and the rose Monastrell also from Spain also had concentrated flavour.

5.5/10The ambiance is great, the dining room is as one expect from a hotel with a bit lack of cosiness. The tab blue is well prepared with linnen and nice cutlery. The service was friendly but it was understaffed. The wine list is acceptable and the open wines are certainly. Good and well prized. The dishes were below average with a pumpkin soup that was not good on taste and watery. The Steak Tartare was at room temperature which to my opinion is a not good sign. It should be minute made and served cold. The steak Amrath was well grilled but the meat was not tender. The additional greens were a bit messy presentedThe fries were good. The dessert was a tiramisu à la Amrath so completely different from what one would expect. So in general moderate score for me!!

9.5/10This building is an unique jewel in plain Amsterdam Center. The workers were extremely friendly. The food was also very tasty, including a beautiful plating. I would definitely visit it again.

6/10We booked a valentines dinner. So the first course arrived and than the second and still nobody asked us if we would like to drink something. Very strange. Later mistake in bill. There was a wine that we never ordered. So luckily we checked the bill.

10/10Booked the New Year’s dinner buffet. The food was of good quality, however I thought that it was a bit limited in variety. The staff at the restaurant were very helpful and attentive. The hotel itself is in a nice location and the ambiance of the hotel has a more traditional and authentic look and feel.
