10/10Valentines day lunch for my wife and myself. Lovely intimate restaurant with great ambience, excellent staff, terrific food and world class wine selection. We absolutely loved it and will be visiting again when we're next in Firenze xx

We opted for the 7-course blind tasting menu with wine pairings, and it was extraordinary. Each course was a delightful surprise—a masterpiece of flavors, prepared with incredible ingredients and plated to perfection. The creativity and thoughtfulness behind each dish were truly impressive, and the wine pairings were expertly chosen to complement every flavor. The staff was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable, enthusiastically guiding us through each course and wine pairing. They made the experience even more special, sharing insights about the dishes and wines that added depth to our meal. Situated near the Uffizi Gallery, it’s the perfect spot to immerse yourself in the charm of Florence while enjoying a meal that feels like a work of art.

10/10Amazing 7 course meal, curated by the chef. Wine pairings, also chosen by the staff. Everything was delicious, inspired by their three main specialties: cheese, truffles, and game. Courses were small but sufficient and paced well so we were never waiting. Some of the bites like the fresh pasta with white truffles and tortellini with parmigiana reggiano filling and emulsified balsamic vinegar are still in our minds and palettes days later. All the food was inventive and yet simple and approachable. And the staff were so so friendly and welcoming. It felt like a very special night.

10/10From the moment we walked in the service was amazing. We had the chef provide a 7 course meal and all courses tasted great but more importantly not something I would have done for myself. Thoroughly enjoyed the evening - thank you.

10/10This is hidden gem in the middle of Florence. Alessio and his crew will offer you a beautiful, relaxing time in the middle of crazy Florence. Everything we had was well prepared, nicely presented and top quality. The wine pairing suggested were right on cue. Alessio, thank you for the great time! Ci vediamo presto!

10/10We had lunch at Degusteria Italiana. We had cheeses, smoked meats, pasta, and dessert. Everything was excellent. The service was attentive and our waiter gave us good recommendations. It’s a small restaurant so make reservations.

10/10Everything here, from the setting to the service and food, was perfect. The explanations of the house specialities was superb and an enjoyable way to strucutre one's meal. We found everything that we tried from the Cheese and Truffle menus to be delicious and creative. While we were only visiting Firenze, this restaurant would be at the top of my list to return to when we come back.

4.5/10Due to the Micheline star reputation we were expecting the food not to be as bland as it was. The service was great in the beginning but throughout the night attentiveness diminished. The ambience however was pleasant and inviting.

10/10Amazing food, wonderful ambience, and excellent service! We had the cheese tasting set menu and it was phenomenal. The waiter gave us a wine recommendation that was a perfect pairing, and we enjoyed our dinner here immensely. Wonderful restaurant, highly recommended!

4.5/10We did the tasting menu. None of the courses were very warm. We could see the two people working in the back, reheating each course before they served it, but not paying much attention to how long the food was actually in the warmer. They spent a lot of time putting on the garnishes before they served it so it looked pretty, but did not taste as good as it should have. After about the fourth course we mentioned our concerns to the waiter, and he just stared at us, not knowing what to do. The pasta the meat, everything was lukewarm. Also, each course also took ridiculously long time to come out, likely sitting out for a while before it was served, adding to the issue. At the end of our meal they did give us a discount on the bill, which we had not requested. With so many great restaurants to choose from, I would forgo this one.
