Having had dinner here many times before, we were a bit disappointed to find out that the restaurant part was closed, and we were seated in the sport pub area, with huge tv screens everywhere and loud kids running around the place. Service was swift and friendly, and the food is good for the price. Though the medium steaks was served more than well done. I5l

Thank God for the Fork's summer deals, we finally tried dining at Gröne Jägaren. We live close to the restaurant but never endeavoured to even check it out until it was one of the restaurants that offered a Fork summer deal. My partner and I then decided to try it out and ordered fish and chips. It was like other restaurants but it would have been better if it had a small sallad as a side dish included in the meal. I also ordered a 200g burger and bacon, which I liked. The young Swedish waiter who served us was personable, service minded, and sounded educated. He seemed to us like a student on a summer job and it was easy for us to talk to him.

The food is amazing but the service is horrible. The waiter was very rude and would not come to take our order, we had to go to the bar and ask and still we had to wait a while because the ones working at the bar were not allowed to take our order. It is not a place for families with children either.

We ordered steak, meat. It was a little hard and lacked flavor. Normally sauces like bearnaise sauce and red wine sauce will help to get a better taste but they were not of much help this time.
