7.5/10Thank God for the Fork's summer deals, we finally tried dining at Gröne Jägaren. We live close to the restaurant but never endeavoured to even check it out until it was one of the restaurants that offered a Fork summer deal. My partner and I then decided to try it out and ordered fish and chips. It was like other restaurants but it would have been better if it had a small sallad as a side dish included in the meal. I also ordered a 200g burger and bacon, which I liked. The young Swedish waiter who served us was personable, service minded, and sounded educated. He seemed to us like a student on a summer job and it was easy for us to talk to him.

6.5/10The food is amazing but the service is horrible. The waiter was very rude and would not come to take our order, we had to go to the bar and ask and still we had to wait a while because the ones working at the bar were not allowed to take our order. It is not a place for families with children either.

5/10We ordered steak, meat. It was a little hard and lacked flavor. Normally sauces like bearnaise sauce and red wine sauce will help to get a better taste but they were not of much help this time.

4/10Poor and terrible service. The waiter gave us an attitude. My guests didnt felt welcomed by the staff. Booked for 8 persons got a table near the partitions from the other side of the bar. The waiter was very particular that we need to finish our food at 8pm coz they have to close that side of the bar which doesnt state in this page when I booked the table. It was a horrible experience couldnt celebrate an important day in this place. I strongly will not recommend this place.

4/10Very unfriendly service, they were not welcoming and very blunt to customers. We weren't aware that we were all expected to eat three courses with a reservation at 20.30 and were told that we are lucky that we aren't being thrown out because we cost them income. People arriving later were no allowed to join. We also saw a waiter grabbing a female customer by the hip, it was very unprofessional. It took a long time till we got to order and then it took a long time for drinks and food to arrive. The drinks and the food were underwhelming. It was a shame that people were so unfriendly because the DJ was good and the karaoke could have been fun, we would have stayed longer if we were treated better.

7/10This is a restaurant that I have walked by many times over the years, but have never visited. It resembles a German Biérgarten without an outdoor garden. We had schnitzel, plankstek and a baconburger, they were all good but not outstanding or spectacular. The service was relaxed and borderline slow. The singel waiter did a good job with many guests! Good value for money with "Covid-19 discount"!
