9.5/10The discount was unfortunately not honored because we exceeded 1.5 hours sitting time!! Ridiculous! It doesn’t matter that we spent total 6,500 kr.. food was delicious and we were 7 people. I wish though they would keep up the promise.

Dear Mr. Zaman, First of all, thank you for your visit. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed your experience with us. Regarding the discount, we would like to clarify why the final amount was adjusted. Your reservation was made for 5 guests. Upon arrival, you informed us that you would be 6 guests, and shortly after, the group increased to 7 guests. This happened during our absolute busiest service time, which created a very challenging situation for our staff. As explained at the restaurant, the discount applied only to the originally booked number of guests. The two additional guests were therefore not included in the discount, which is why the total discount amount for the whole group changed. We would also like to remind you that the allocated seating time is 1.5 hours. You stayed for over 2 hours despite being reminded, which unfortunately caused difficulties for the next arriving guests. We truly appreciate your understanding and hope to welcome you again in the future under smoother circumstances.

5/10We arrived at our reservation time but there was no table available until 35 mins after our reservation time. We had to wait by the entrance for the whole time. The kitchen service was quite slow.

10/10We had dinner yesterday at Elcielo and had a wonderful time. The staff is truly lovely, offering a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We ordered two hamburgers, which were absolutely delicious, along with crispy sweet potatoes. For dessert, a delightful tiramisu. A place we gladly recommend.

We booked a discounted New Year’s Day offer but sadly that doesn’t include steak which is what I had planned so I ordered tapas (3 dishes). The baked cheese with almonds was delicious but needed more balsamic or sweet glaze. The chilli king prawns were served in a small iron skillet and were cooked perfectly and were well cleaned and delicious. This saved the review. Sadly the chorizo was fried flat cut down the centre which made it tough and wasn’t good quality. I didn’t complain but the waiter noticed and took it off the bill which shows very good service. The restaurant itself was warm and cosy with low lighting and a good view to the street with outdoor seating, glasses and tableware were personalised which was a nice touch. I would go again and would recommend this restaurant. My son had the brisket burger and although it was very pink that’s ok if it’s brisket, he thoroughly enjoyed it.
