10/10The food was outstanding, beautifully presented, locally sourced and so delicious. We had the 5 course with wine pairings and each course was unique, perfectly paired with the wine and wonderful. The service was warm, very informative and friendly. This was a very special meal. And very reasonably priced. Highly recommended!

10/10Loved the 4 course meal, it was a lot of food and it was excellent. We really enjoyed not having a menu and having the chef choose all the dishes. Service was excellent.

10/10We were a little discombobulated by there being no menu at all but the food we were served was excellent in all respects. I recommend speaking to the restaurant in advance if you have any food allergies or strong dislikes as I am sure they can accommodate with sufficient notice. Overall a very lovely restaurant- friendly, refined, quiet and high quality.

10/10Amazing amazing amazing. The food is not just absolutely fresh (I'm thinking of the iridescence in the fish) but the flavor combinations and spices are creative and bold. I begged the restaurant for a cookbook (none exist -- yet!). I highly recommend this restaurant.

10/10Great restaurant with excellent high-quality cooking and warm but very professional (not a given in Amsterdam!) service. Highly recommended, and I will certainly come back. The also import their own wines, so you can takes a case home if you want.

9.5/10Very impressed, our first time here. We were running late and phoned ahead as we were running 30 minutes behind, staff were very understanding and were very welcoming. Food was exceptional, everything was explained as to where it came from and to how it was cooked. Staff were incredible and it was clear to be seen they took a real interest in what they were doing. A truly incredible experience and looking forward to my next visit.

10/10It was our first visit to DenC and we were surprised by its outstanding quality, both in food/drink and service. After some very delicate amuses, we decided to take the four-course menu. My wife ordered duck liver pie for starters and I went for the oysters Bloody Mary, oysters enriched by red paprika, among others. Excellent, both of them. Second dish was scallops on slowly cooked pork belly. Very soft to bite, brilliant combination in taste. Our main courses were American river trout and Venison steak respectively. What can I say. Such lovely food! Not to mention the good choice and advice in wines whjch are D and C ( Johan Dik and Emmalou Cunningham) own import. We’ll be back.

8.5/10It was a Friday. Evening and in the restaurant there was just another table with 3 gentlemen so that we felt like we ordered the restaurant all for us! Food was delicious, portions big enough and lady who attend us was very nice, high quality of service which is really rare in Amsterdam.

4/10we were 4 with 2 kids, overpriced and average meal. mixture of flavor unsuitable. the height 2h20 to wait for our dishes. do not recommend with children. Very Disapointed . I will not came back.

9/10We were welcomed and served by the younger of the two waitresses. She was patient, well informed on the wine, knowledgeable on the food and took great care of us. We had a beautiful table overlooking the street and could not be happier. About the food- the portions are too big (we had 4 courses) and in my opinion the sauces had too much cream and the reductions were too strong. So there was a lack of finesse in contrast to my experience in the winter. I would specifically mark down the scallops and tomato as being too stoggy. That said the mains i.e. the slow cooked veal cheeks were sublime, the lamb that my wife ordered was cooked perfectly, and mom's cod was cooked to the point (au point) -it was to be honest 400 g :) I think this is one of the nicest non * restaurants in Amsterdam and only requires a few tweaks to rival the vermeer.
