3/10Many food in the menu can not be ordered. Even I want to order common dish, seafood paella, seafood soup (I saw management photos in the trip adviser), they didn't have. I want to other some seafood, they didn't have. My husband ordered a steak with MEDIUM WELL, they cooked it as MEDIUM RARE.

As you noted, we were indeed victims of our own success that Sunday evening. Our menu changes daily based on available supplies and stock, which can sometimes result in certain dishes being unavailable, particularly at the end of the weekend. For example, our langoustine and pink prawn paella was extremely popular this weekend, and unfortunately, we ran out. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this caused. Regarding the steak for your wife, we are truly sorry for the cooking error. Had you informed us at the time, we would have been happy to correct the situation immediately and offer a gesture of goodwill on your bill. Once again, this does not reflect the standard of service we strive for at Dessirier. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back for an experience that lives up to your expectations. 10/10We don't speak French, so would be nice for the staff to maybe help people who don't speak the language, to explain the dishes with some detail. This would increase the experience for non french speaking people. :)

3/10The restaurant was a major disappointment. Very unwelcoming and rude waitstaff. All waiters were unsmiling and unfriendly. It was almost funny when the waitress simply never took our order and we had to flag down a host to order our main course. The food was bad (off tasting raw oysters, undercooked cool cod, mashed potatoes drowning in mustard-inedible). Probably worst restaurant experience ever in Paris. Avoid!!! So many much better restaurants with incredible food and welcoming service in this city!

Waitress seemed annoyed than took a very long time to come back for our order then asked us why 2 people only ordered a starter and not a.n Entree but we had also ordered a huge seafood platter and she asked if we had a big or late lunch, it was weird

9/10The service at the Dessirier was excellent. I ordered no 1. raw oyster and scallop carpaccio for appetizer, fish bouilabasisse for entree and ending with chocolate souffle for desserts while my friend ordered 3 entree. The raw oyster and chocolate souffle was excellent and I would definitely recommend to anyone, while the scallop carpaccio was also very nice. However, the fish bouilabasisse was a disappointment to me. The soup has flavor and the fish meat is very soft, however one of the fish skin was burnt and left a slight bitter burnt taste ruining the overall dish and I didn't even touch any of the mussel on the dish after that. I needed to rinse my mouth with water to get rid of the taste or an otherwise very nice dish. My friend didn't enjoy any of his 3 entree either. According to him, is roasted scallop was okay, while his sea bass fillet lacks flavor and his deep pan squid was too salty. Overall, I enjoyed my visit and would come again especially for the raw oyster and chocolate souffle, but i doubt i can get this particular friend to join me again.

7/10Overall we had a good dinner. The service is good and the product quality is very nice. Some of the meals were a little disappointing (lack of flavors and spice) like the starters with the crab( no taste of yuzu). A good table but a little bit overrated .

10/10We had the €88 seafood plate which was excellent,. The range of oysters, crab, langoustine, shrimp and small shrimp exceeded our expectations. Then we also had the ceviche which was excellent, the crab with broccoli purée was a surprising combination which I believe is an acquired taste, We had the 1.2kg John Dory to share, it was perfectly cooked and came in two halves, the napoleon for dessert was also excellent. We washed it all down with Sancerre domaine Vacheron. Service was very accommodating and we felt most welcome

6/10Added Oysters to the Menu of the day, they were delicious, the soup was wonderful. The main course lacked flavour and was very disappointing, the fish was only OK, the vegetables and bean became boring … served in a bowl, it lacked any imagination or presentation expected from this restaurant. The tables are close together and the waiters were fussy and moving back-and-to more than necessary creating a frantic environment. I like calm and being served without knowing, is that too much to ask for? Didn’t bother wit dessert.

10/10We first visited this restaurant 5 years ago and have returned on every trip to Paris. The wine list is superb and the food incredible and the warm and friendly nature of the Maître d' just makes the whole experience 5 stars. A little tip, try the chocolate souffle for dessert, you will not regret it!
