delicious Sicilian food, super service. Worth travelling out from the city centre, an easy tram-ride away.

+2The food was good but not exceptional. The grilled fish would benefit from a great sauce. The free amuse-bouches were dry. In general, the food is quite bland and lacks punch. The atmosphere is not impressive. The dining room is too bright. The service is too formal, the waiters are not really interested in you. At the end, they tried to cheat on my TheFork discount cutting it more than by half. When I pointed out at their mistake, they corrected it (in two attempts) but never apologized.

Everything was excellent. Top quality Sauvignon for only 25 euros. Great pasta. Best cheesecake ever.

We visited for dinner and found the experience to be a combination of high highs and awkward lows. Culinary-wise, the kitchen shows promise but is inconsistent. We started with the anchovies and mussel soup as antipasti, followed by mains (tuna with pistachio and spaghetti vongole). The tuna with pistachio was cooked perfectly and very flavorful. The vongole pasta, however, missed the mark completely; the dish was excessively oily and didn't have much taste, which was a letdown. The service felt a bit disorganised, with staff rushing around the floor. Most uncomfortably, the logistics of the restaurant meant that incoming guests had nowhere to wait. We had strangers standing right next to our table for half an hour while we tried to eat, which killed the intimacy of the meal. Overall a nice spot, but the crowd management needs serious improvement.

Wonderful restaurant with a great atmosphere and delicious, authentic Italian food. The service was outstanding! Francesca made us feel at home and helped us choose excellent dishes and wine from the menu. Highly recommended – we will definitely come back! ❤️

The attention of the waiter and the manager were extraordinary. The Pasta Alle Vongole, were delicious. The Melanzane Parmigiana was good however seems to have been prepared before and just re heated. The tiramisu was excellent! Will come back for sure!

+4Came here to celebrate my friend’s birthday and both the food and service exceeded our expectations! Even though we did not speak Italian our waiter was super patient and helped us out as much as he could, even offering suggestions on the menu. During dessert they even cut the lights, played happy birthday on the speakers, and brought out my friends dessert with candles which was very sweet. Overall was great dinner!

The food was great and presented beautifully. The service was amazing and our waiter was friendly and engaging. The establishment is beautiful and well kept. The only thing I would change is that the dinner lighting is quite bright. I will definitely be eating at Donna Caterina again.

Great food, although the experience could have been more round if the service would have been more present and not so forgetting, also there are three plants in the dinning room that do not show great care, they would be better off with some fake one. I will still go back but with a different mind set.

A varied and creative menu, building on Sicilian traditional cuisine. A very good wine list and excellent service. All dishes were excellent, perfectly cooked with very good ingredients.

Lovely restaurant. I booked with the Fork with -30% discount advertised. My confirmation email then stated this was not applicable. I did not feel like looking for another restaurant at that point after much research. I just think this is unfair advertising to attract attention.
