We had a really lovely time, the wait staff were excellent, and we sampled many dishes and they were all superb.

Extremely disappointing experience. Despite multiple empty tables, we waited over 20 minutes to be seated even though we had a reservation. The situation made no sense — guests ahead of us with reservations became so frustrated that they cancelled and left, yet we were still not seated. The host showed a complete lack of organisation and awareness, which set the tone for the rest of the visit. Poor management at the front of house completely ruined what should have been a straightforward dining experience.

Food was good. I had the pizza and it was good although a little too rich for me (too much tomato sauce). A little pricey too. Service was ok.

We had lunch reservations. The waiter Marco should not be in the hospitality industry. We felt we were discriminated because of our ethnicity considering he was very helpful and polite to other Caucasian guest around us. We had few questions regarding the food allergies but got this standard answer “everything is in the menu”. My husband asked what kind of wines were served per glass, answer “it’s all in the menu”! Since I got no information from him regarding what would be ok for me to eat (due to allergies) I opted not to order anything, in response I was very rudely told that regardless if I eat or not I would still have to pay restaurant service fee, which we were aware of and had no problem paying. He had to be asked several times to bring plates for the bread that was served by his colleague, and to get us olive oil and balsamic. He never came to ask if everything was okay. All in all, was a horrible experience being made to feel like we were unwelcome and invisible. Save your $

We visited Eataly Firenze for a meal. The location is excellent – right in the heart of the city – and the interior atmosphere is pleasant and cozy, perfect for either lunch or dinner. However, the service was quite average and could definitely be improved. The wine was good and paired well with the food. Unfortunately, the arancini were overcooked and had a sour taste, which was disappointing. On the positive side, the signature pizza was delicious, and the Caesar salad was tasty as well, though it could have been a bit better. We didn’t stay for dessert, so we can’t comment on that. Overall, it’s a place worth visiting mainly for its convenient location and some solid dishes. Also, we really enjoyed browsing their store – it had a great selection of Italian products and added to the overall experience.

Centrally located and quick service . Vegetarian options were limited and we were surprised there was no gnocchi / risotto and limited gluten free options
