Excellent smoked salmon as usual! We did book more than a month in advance and still got the worst table next to the entrance door, quite disappointed by their placement choices.

+1Great place! Went there for lunch and it was super tasty! The seating area is nice shadowed by trees and overlooking a nice canal. The staff are friendly and attentive. Would definitely come back and I highly recommend it.

The place looks very comfy, with many TVs for the football matches & sport streaming. We have been there in a weird day I guess, we were totally alone. Just us two and the staff (one guy alone) . The waiter has been very professional and nice. We had a burger and a fish fish, both were really good, tasty and perfectly cooked. Too bad we were completely alone.

Modern, well equipped and clean restaurant with attentive and knowledgeable staff. Large selection of drinks and the non alcoholic IPA was very good. The restaurant serves a variety of food including burgers, nachos, salads and pizza at a reasonable price. The food was good and it would benefit from another round of development. Burgers were served straight without a small salad or perhaps small veg portion, which would be a thoughtful idea. The salmon salad was also good, especially the home smoked fish but again a braver and more daring salad dressing and perhaps fresh walnuts would make a statement Also the area is lovely around the restaurant.

Very nice restaurant, far from the mess of Amsterdam downtown. As suggested by the staff, their salmon was very good and it's recommended it. the place has several board games available for guests and the layout is relaxed and elegant, yet informal, creating a very pleasant atmosphere.

+3I would like to give the ambiance 5+ stars. This is a cool place - a restaurant with outside seating just by the river, away from the noise of the streets. That was quite something. We ordered tomato soup (very good), the 84 burger (could have used a bit more sauce), chicken sate (excellently made) and smoked salmon (a highlight, possibly the best salmon I'ver had). For dessert we had apple pie with ice cream - very nice. We also had a banana+pineapple smoothie, which was really smooth. Excellent food topped off with a very positive and friendly service - what more can one ask for? Highly recommended.

Service was great, employees checked on us from time to time. What I liked is that they left the menu there, so we were able to order drinks after our first order. Great ambiance, warm inside.

Eighty-FourPlease could you be more specific? Our lunch lunch menu is quite wide with soups, sandwiches, burgers, plates and salads. Its not different then showed as on The Fork.

This was one of the worst restaurant experiences of my life. The tables were dirty and had ants and spiders so I had to clean it myself. There was only one waiter for the whole restaurant so I never got a menu and had to look it up on my phone. The food took ages and when it arrived it was disgusting. The salad was not fresh and the seafood that should have been grilled was raw

We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the shortage of staff due to unexpected sick employees and holidays. This unfortunate situation led to us being understaffed, with only one team member available to serve. Additionally, we regret that the unexpected surge in customers due to the better-than-forecasted weather led to a jam in our kitchen operations. On that particular evening, we had to rely on external help in the kitchen, which resulted in deviations from our standard cooking processes. Regarding the concerns about the salads, we want to assure you that we take great pride in using only the daily fresh ingredients for our salads. Furthermore, we'd like to clarify that we do not offer grilled seafood on our menu. B.W. 84

Came here by chance with my boyfriend and we had a great experience. Food and cocktails were lovely and the service couldn’t have been better. Ps try the guacamole!

We had lunch with some friends and everything we ordered was delicious. The homemade lemon merengue cheesecake was really amazing. Service was very attentive and helpful.

Kind Staff, delicious food, reasonable prices, it was a good memory in Amsterdam Especially The 84 hamburgers and smoked salmon salad is great.

I went there twice, once for burgers, which were very tasty. The other time we went for nachos, these weren't very good. The cheese was cooked for too long so it was dry and crispy and there weren't enough toppings. The salsa was excellent, maybe the best I've had on nachos, but the guacamole was a bit tasteless, despite being home made. If they add more cheese, don't overcook it, add more of the toppings and add some spices or herbs to the guacamole it would've been very good.

Very nice atmosphere, quality food and great service.. We ate 84 special burgers and Irish Steak. They cooked them as we requested. Chic plates????I’d definitely recommend ????

I think the service of the restaurant was very good. They were responsive and professional. The atmosphere is nice. You should not expect at star restaurant vibe but for the price is lovely (that’s why I gave it 4 stars). Also the food was good and enough for the two of us. We shared a starter, both had a main, and shared a dessert (35€ in total with the 50% discount on the food). All in all, we had a lovely dinner for the price we paid. Thx Eighty-Four!

Good burgers and most of all the service was very friendly and they have a large terrace with a view on the canal. Good place to have beers too!
