The service was excellent and restaurant was beautiful. The server was extremely helpful. The prawns were a little mushy in texture. My hake was unfortunately overcooked in my opinion. Overall the experience was delightful but the food a bit overpriced for what it was.

We visited twice once for lunch, and once for dinner. The food was excellent, fresh, flavoursome and delicious, the service was charming, helpful and the recommendations also wise and most welcome. We thoroughly enjoyed the ambience, friendly, relaxed and without any rush. Thank you

This is a polished neighborhood restaurant that pulls in tourists from nearby hotels. Very high quality food with efficient (but not effusive) service and two distinct rooms—the more elegant dining room and the more “energetic” bar area. I eat here at least once on every trip to Madrid and recommend it. And btw, and incredible value .

We ordered three dover soles. 20 minutes later, they told us they only had two left, so we ordered another fish. 10 minutes later, they told us they could only serve one! On the other hand, the waiter was not attentive of our table and yawned all the time. Finaly, when they brought us the check, they asked us if we were not going to leave more tip!!!

The food was delicious, service was professional, and ambiance was delightful.

Although there were few diners, service was slow. The salad was dripping with olive oil and inedible (when we finally had it cleared and said it was too oily not only did the waiter not care, the salad remained on the bill). The fish was well-prepared. A disappointing last dinner in Madrid.

The best lobster rice and Fidea noodles I’ve ever had. Service from GOJO and the manager Caser were extraordinarily and so friendly - we had such a wonderful night there! Thank you so much!

+1We heard about this place from a friend. We were received at the door by Horacio. He quickly prepared a table and seated us. We wanted many of their offerings but he helped us narrow them down. We ended up with a Ensalada Verduras, a plate of grilled razor clams, and a whole turbot with potatoes and roasted red peppers. We complimented the meal with an Albariño. The food came efficiently but not hurried at all. The atmosphere was relaxed but not slow. staff were friendly and gracious. Unfortunately, we did not have room for dessert. Next time!

Bit noisy but excellent service and food quality

The wait staff ignored us. When they finally took our order, the food began to arrive but I had to remind the staff that we had ordered wine. The grilled octopus and a chick pea soup appetizer was delicious. The rolls were stale and the rice with seafood was over salted and the seafood was hard to find. Our hotel concierge made the recommendation and I suspect she gets a kickball.

The food was good. The service changed for the worse since last year. We had a table of 10. No one received their dishes, they were randomly placed on the table, so we had to get them ourselves. Very poor waiter memory and order management. Also, 3 of us received dishes that were not ordered by our table, the waiter trying to convince us to take the wrong dishes. For one of us the third attempt was successful, after the waiter tried to convince him by bringing again the menu that he ordered something else. Very rude and unprofessional staff! Also, we had the inspiration to check the bill, thus discovering that it reflected the dishes that were not ours, but brought at our table and refused as we did not order them. The waiter was even annoyed that we told him he overcharged us, but he corrected it without much fuss. Nevertheless, there were no apologies from them, after all the mix-up throughout the dinner. Once a wonderful place, our expectations were not met this time!

The owner was very unfriendly and didn't know something about his own menu. The food in general wasn't good prepared.

+1Amazing food, and service. Went for lunch with my husband and 12 year old son; we shared oysters, shrimp (gambas blancas) and a nice seafood rice. The place is really nice and relaxed and, though somewhat expensive, they have fair prices for the amazing food and sercice!

The wait staff were great. Spoke enough English and have English menus to help us get what we wanted. Oysters and Paella for dinner with a white wine from acacia barrel. Definitely worth a visit. Really friendly people with a great price.

We just finished an 18-day trip through Southern Spain, Madrid and Portugal, and although this restaurant came recommended by our Madrid hotel, it was EASILY the WORST dining experience that we had on the entire trip (and we ate at a wide variety of restaurants -from expensive and gourmet quality -to- street food and neighborhood cafes ) The service was literally NON-EXISTENT ??? Seated us and then proceeded to IGNORE us for our entire visit, we were "served" by at least 5 different staff members ( not even waiters some of them ) and finally had to ask to pay, so we could leave..... Restaurant design and interior are very nice, food was good - acceptable BUT not better than average and above average in price. We would NEVER return to this restaurant, and would NEVER RECOMMEND to anyone During our trip, we were very please with at least 14 or 15 of our 18 dinners ( see our other Reviews ) but NOT this restaurant, SORRY

One of the best restaurants we went to while in Madrid. I have had monkfish in many places in many countries. Never like this. Delicious. Good wine list. I’ve already recommended the restaurant to a number of friends. And while it certainly wasn’t inexpensive… I wouldn’t expect it to be… The prices were extremely fair for what you get.

Great food, would’ve liked to see a bit more variety all in all a great restaurant.
