6/10Generally the atmosphere was nice. The personnel was friendly. There ocurred three times electricity cut-off, most probably there was a problem with the electrical fuse. “Gambas con garlic” was not that professional, was full of oil with a little gambas.

A fantastic find. A very gracious host in Juan, a really passionate foodie who recommended some dishes for us to try and they were all excellent. Juan also recommended a beautiful white Rioja to go with the dishes which was perfect. Friendly service, an engaging friendly host with impeccable English, delicious food and wine, what more could one ask for! Would highly recommend.

6.5/10Mediocre food and disappointing for the price. Frozen prawns sold as fresh, the proprietor even told us they were fresh and they’d cleaned them for us but they clearly weren’t.

9/10if you are looking for a special place and a unique experience.. this owner run quaint place is an excellent choice. we loved the grilled octopus, fresh fish and gambas. amazing service !

9.5/10We were two friends having our last dinner in Valencia. The food was great and the owner was very helpful with advice regarding the food. His English is very good. It was a real authentic experience, wouldn’t change a thing!

9.5/10The ingredients that were used were incredibly fresh and if very good quality. The host was such a knowledgable and interesting person to talk to and on his recommendation we had the manchego cake which if it is on the menu when you visit I would recommend for you to try

Nice staff and good starters. We had the paella as a main and were disappointed, the rice lacked depth and was disconnected from the seafood. Maybe best to keep to the hot and cold tapas, all of which were delicious.

10/10Fuad is an exceptional host, the food is excellent and it is a pleasure to be there. I only wished I visited Valencia, wonderful as it is, a little more often. This restaurant is the first thing I book whenever I know I'm going to be here.

10/10This was really a treat. While it was teuly a Spanish restaurant, the dishes were unique and delicious. The proprietor was engaging and a delight. It's not inexpensive but it was a very fair price for these specialties.

2/10We arrived just before our reservation to be greeted by the owner sitting on the patio drinking a beer. He stated “you are the ones who booked on the Fork it’s costing me 3 Euros each, can’t you cancel but do it before 8.30 pm. I tried but by the time we were seated it was already 8.30 pm. I have booked on the fork many times in different parts of the world but never have I and my partner been greeted in such a way. Next we are given a dirty fingerprint laden and broken menu.The owner explained some of the dishes and we informed him that we did look on line and read reviews. The day before we had looked at the restaurant and it looked old and grungy but going on the many good reviews and a nod it was ok from a taxi driver. Next we ordered wine and water, when the water arrived he poured it into our glasses and left the bottle but took the cap, I said please put it back which he did reluctantly and said “people steel the bottles”. These were ordinary water bottles you can buy anywhere, but maybe he didn’t want to loose the cap and bottle and just refilled with some other generic cheaper water. We ordered croquettes and he challenged “ our palates to see if we could distinguish what we were eating. None tasted of anything apart from one that had some onion in it. Next we had octopus on mash! Rubbery and no flavour. Next we had shrimps which were in a good 250 mls of oil and bland. At no time did he check if we were happy with the food. The waitress who delivered our food didn’t smile or talk and looked very unhappy. The place is old and dirty, no hand sanitizer empty boxes piled up at back of restaurant. We then awaited our next course, it never came we had to get up and find the manager who had forgotten. This was a bean and ham soup which did have some flavour! He took the old plate away and gave me back my cutlery that had handle and was cross when I ask for clean. I said I would review his restaurant he walked away saying “I don’t care”. In the beginning of the night he did wear a mask but as more people arrived he kept it on his chin. To summarize this is not a nice place to eat it’s dirty, old and the food uninspiring. We are in the medical field and felt very unsafe in this restaurant.

10/10Perfect evening. The welcome we had was so friendly. We were recommended certain dishes to try and they didn’t disappoint! Amazing food, amazing wine (also recommended). Great value for money. Just sad this was our last night in Valencia or we’d definitely be going again!!

10/10This restaurant was perfect for an intimate Valentine's dinner! We were very pleased with how attentive the owner of the restaurant is and felt incredibly welcomed. The food was excellent, and to finish off our meal we had a manchego flan that tasted unlike anything I've ever eaten. Delicious!
