Thoroughly enjoyable evening all round. Had chosen the raco d'en cesc because a favourite footballers of mine has always been Cesc Fabregas and the surprise I got to see him on the restaurant walls along with other places of la roja alongvwith the 10 of all times was incredible to see. it has been a night ill remember and cherish for a long time. The food wasn't bad either !!!

The food was great, we both had the tasting menu. I don't like fish, so they changed the menu to include only meat and duck. Every plate was delicious, really good quality and price ratio. Also the service was great and attentive. I certainly recommend the restaurant.

Service was excellent. The scallops were cooked to perfection. Seared and carmelized on the outside, tender on the inside. The pork belly was full of flavor, with some fatty cuts and lean cuts too. The caramel ice cream dessert is a must have.

the food was far beyond great considering the price of it . i had tasting course and it literally blew my mind. however i dont know what made the waiters angry but they had some issue with another and they let their anger exposed to costumers

Food very well prepared and of excellent quality. The tasting menu that we had was well conceived and showed off the culinary skill of the chef. The fly in the ointment is the heavy use of salt. I guess that is a personal preference and really couldn't blame the chef.

Off the more touristy routes, El Racó d'en Cesc is a hidden gem. They serve up classic gourmet dishes, often with a twist. The tasting menu was not only delicious but worked out as half the price of ordering its five dishes separately. Polite and good service.

Service disappeared after our food was served and we didn’t see them again. The table above got up and all five people came downstairs and stood in the adjacent dining room until they got their bill. A gentleman from the table next to us got up and stood at the door to the kitchen until someone came out, I think they wanted desert. We finally left some cash on the table and walked out.

The combination of a classic environment - original paintings, antique furniture, large tables clad in crisp white linen, a spacious layout & welcoming ambiance - with modern Catalan gourmet cuisine of stellar status, is enchanting. The professional amiability of the waitresses & waiters, deftly delivering the delicious dishes with perfect timing and permanent smiles, is the icing on the cake. The meal starts with the lightest, warmest, tastiest tranches of crusty bread topped with tomaquet. And it goes uphill from there.
