9/10Service disappeared after our food was served and we didn’t see them again. The table above got up and all five people came downstairs and stood in the adjacent dining room until they got their bill. A gentleman from the table next to us got up and stood at the door to the kitchen until someone came out, I think they wanted desert. We finally left some cash on the table and walked out.

9.5/10Seemed very quiet at first and worried it lacked atmosphere but soon filled up and staff could not have been nicer. Maybe too efficient but that is way better than under efficient.

10/10The combination of a classic environment - original paintings, antique furniture, large tables clad in crisp white linen, a spacious layout & welcoming ambiance - with modern Catalan gourmet cuisine of stellar status, is enchanting. The professional amiability of the waitresses & waiters, deftly delivering the delicious dishes with perfect timing and permanent smiles, is the icing on the cake. The meal starts with the lightest, warmest, tastiest tranches of crusty bread topped with tomaquet. And it goes uphill from there.

6/10We made a reservation but when we arrived, nobody welcomed us, we had to wait 10 minutes before someone came and then we waited again because the restaurant was not waiting for us, we had to prove that we had reserved. The food was good but we had to eat in a room that is usually for groups (the 2 of us sitting alone on a table for 8, in a separate room). Of course, the waiters almost forgot us...

10/10I had the pleasure of dining at Racó d'en Cesc recently, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I stepped in, the staff greeted me warmly and made me feel right at home. The service throughout the meal was impeccable, with the staff being extremely friendly and attentive. The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the food. Not only did it arrive promptly, but each dish was a culinary delight. The presentation was elegant, showcasing the chef's attention to detail and artistic flair. The flavors were well-balanced and rich, leaving my taste buds completely satisfied. The tasting menu was a journey of gastronomic delights. The Tomato from Barbastro Salad with Mackerel, "Salmorejo," and Onion from Figueras was a refreshing and appetizing start. The Egg in Low Temperature with Pork Belly, Potato Cream, Rocket, and Truffle Oil was a heavenly combination of textures and tastes. The Cod Pil Pil with Peppers (Piquillo, Gernika, and Padron) was a testament to the chef's skill in handling seafood, and it was cooked to perfection. The Iberian Pork with Olives and "Chimichurri" Crumbs was succulent and full of flavor, making it a true highlight of the meal. The dining atmosphere at Racó d'en Cesc was warm and inviting, making it an excellent place to relax and enjoy a memorable meal. The decor and ambiance added to the overall experience, making it a delightful evening. When it comes to value for money, Racó d'en Cesc exceeded all expectations. The quality of the food, the attentive service, and the inviting atmosphere made it worth every penny. In fact, I would go as far as to say that it is the best restaurant I have had the pleasure of dining at so far. The attention to detail, innovative flavors, and impeccable service make it a standout dining destination. If you have the opportunity to visit Racó d'en Cesc, I highly recommend indulging in their Tasting Menu. From the appetizing Tomato Salad to the refreshing Watermelon Soup with Mojito Ice Cream, every dish is a work of art that will leave you wanting more. In conclusion, Racó d'en Cesc offers an outstanding dining experience that goes beyond expectations. With its friendly staff, mouthwatering food, and inviting ambiance, it has secured a special place in my heart, and I cannot wait to return.

10/10Wonderful restaurant with real local cuisine. The rib was delicious and practically melted in our mouth, absolutely recommend for a nice dinner out. Classy but not overly expensive compared to other venues. Loved the ambience. Staff were attentive but also after 21 it gets quite busy, happy we had an earlier booking. They also have gluten-free bread on demand.

5.5/10Totally outdated ambience living of old fame in the 80ties , possibly even before. The pictures passing the front door saying it all. Same furniture, probably same china ware as 40 years ago. Tasting menu of 5 courses pre pared partially out of the fridge. Sauces totally overkill, decent piece of a fish and iberian pork though. OK service and the price was only 42 Euros for the tasting menu. For what you get its pretty fair, in the end its no experience at all, very much less a to be repeated one ever. Remodel and start fresh or close doors would be my recommendation. Much more Exciting and delicoius options right around the corner. Plenty of them.
