10/10Hard to think of a more perfect place to spend a slow afternoon with friends. Simple food, beautifully cooked, good wines, attentive service and a great relaxed ambience. World class Cace e Pepe, perfect Carciofi, beef exactly right, etc. Slow, joy.

10/10Wonderful ambience and atmosphere. Great service and lovely food. So relaxing in a busy area. Old school Rome. Great traditional food. Perfect for a dinner after a busy day. We loved it. Good value as well. The cocktails next door were special. Thank you.

10/10One of the best meals we had in Rome. Service was great ! Waiter helped us pick out a nice wine and had great recommendations for food. I have the gnocchi and it was delicious! Would highly recommend!

8.5/10The restaurant had a warm and interesting vibe which we found welcoming and interesting. The service was nice and the food was quite good. We will definitely visit again on our next visit to Rome in a few months.

7.5/10The restaurant was very quaint but our waiter wasn’t very friendly. He seemed annoyed by us. We have had great food -but when the servers are pleasant and warm the experience is so much better.

6/10Greeting/reception pleasant. Table could have been better seated in room with 3 groups. Maybe couples in one room, groups in second?. Service was simply odd. I neither expect nor wish to build relationship with my server but eye contact and return of a smile? Generally I don't know what I'll order until I've read the menu. But I would have liked to order a cocktail. The noise level (local groups) made conversation difficult. Joviality can be a shared experience. But the poker faced wait staff seemed more pained than approving. A couple of minutes wait while organising a larger table all acceptable if in the right spirit. But that spirit remained lacking. We did eventually order. Antipasto mista, good but not exceptional. Filleto con lardo, excellent👌, cacio y pepe con guanciale....just 😞 sad. No love or care discernable. In Rome?! The worst I have ever eaten. Guanciale was limp and flabby. The cheese had been given no chance to emulsify. Really? The open wines were very good.

10/10What a lovely Italian restaurant. It had come recommended by friends and it did not disappointed. When we arrived we were welcomed and felt welcome. It is quite a large restaurant but still managed to feel intimate. A mixture of locals and the more sophisticated tourist. The spaghetti carbonara was delicious and the right size (not big). The grilled vegetables were excellent too. Would definitely return.

10/10My wife and I visited this restaurant twice during our 1 week stay in Rome. We had two declicious meals. Especially during our 2nd visit, our service was excellent. The ambiance is comffortable and quite pleasant and includes live piano music in the background. The Aperol spritz is very tasty and refreshing. Our excellent starters included Caprese one visit and Prosciutto and mozzarella the other visit. Our main courses included Beef fillet, Salmon fillet and Saltimboccs -- all delicious. The wine list is extensive. We can recommend the Tirmisu for dessert. We highly recommend this restaurant as a more upscale choice near the Pantheon. Reservations recommended.
