6.5/10The food was excellent—the cacio e pepe pasta was amazing, as were the lasagna, and the tiramisu was very fresh. We had reserved a table for 8. The waiters were a bit inattentive and rushed (while clearing the plates, they spilled on one person in our group). The portion sizes could have been slightly larger. The restaurant didn’t offer anything complimentary.

10/10The service was incredible, people were extra nice ! My favorite dishes were the Quattro for maggi pizza and the antipasti mozzarella di latte di buffalo con melanzane !! Thank you for the amazing experience !

10/10Capranica came highly recommended to us by our hotel and did not disappoint. The service was very attentive and the food was executed to a high level. Filets and the lasagna were absolute winners. Highly recommend the bruschetta and cheese sampler antipasti are must haves - on the menu most anyplace but just executed to a higher level here! As others have said, the ambiance is special.

The staff is very attentive and friendly. We felt very welcomed. The food is amazing and it will be difficult to choose as the choices all sound delicious. The atmosphere is stunning. Highly recommend this neighborhood gem.

4.5/10Had a reservation- wasn’t acknowledged for several minutes by ANYONE. As a solo diner, I was sat in the very corner of the restaurant- almost walled in. Finally ordered a salad and pasta. It took almost 45-1 hr to get the salad (sorry, but horrible) then I had to wait for someone to notice that I was done with the salad to start the pasta (Amatriciana). That actually did not take an hour like the salad, but it was average. The waiter was so less than enthusiastic to be there, waiting on me or existing for that matter. This was number #1 dinner recommendation from the front desk at my hotel. I thought it would be great the way she said it was her favorite. My last night in Italy and a very big disappointment!

10/10Capranica is one of the very best restaurants in Rome. We came here on a recommendation and really didn’t expect to love it as much as we did. My husband and I shared the lasagna as a starter and it was the best lasagna we had in Rome (probably ever). Then we ordered the chicken with potatoes. It’s served almost like a franchise with proccuito and cheese. I would have never ordered this dish because who orders chicken in Italy but it came recommended and omg it’s the best chicken I’ve ever had. We loved it so much we made reservations to go back again and the second time was just as good. For reference we took a trip to Rome for 35 days and tried soooo many restaurants and this one along with one other is a true special gem. Please try the chicken and lasagna. You won’t be sorry.
