10/10Excellent little bar. We had the cheese and meat board, and it was delicious. Lots of new flavours to try, and plenty of food for two. Great wine, and lovely service.

10/10+1We read reviews for this place which all sounded great. We were wanting more of a tapas type meal and this ticked all of the boxes. We had the Mixed Tapas, a couple of different Bruschettas and the cheese and meat board. Food was excellent, great service and the place had a nice relaxed vibe. Would definitely go back.

9/10We visited Essensa twice. First time was quiet and the service was good. We loved the tapas and the bruschetta choices. The lasagna was fantastic and the wine selection was great as well. Second time it was really busy and naturally the service was a bit slower but the staff was friendly. All in all, it’s a great place.

10/10If you love Tagliere (Charcuterie), you're going to love this wonderful little place. It's owned by 3 sisters and 3 husbands who put their heart and soul into everything they do. The cheeses, the meats, the dips, the accompaniments are all thoughtfully prepared and explained. We had the Tagliere Essenza for 2 and it was perfect. Several delicious glasses of wine later and it was an amazing evening. Can't wait until we're back in Rome to come again!

9.5/10The owners/staff were great, very accommodating! Many charcuterie selections to choose from. No outdoor seating but space is cozy and Reasonable. And fun. When back in Rome we will visit.

9.5/10Loved the food here. There was so much on the shared plate of meat and cheese for two that we didn’t need anything else. The waiters were very informative and had a great sense of humour. The place was quite quiet when we went but that was because at 6.30pm we were a little earlier than most diners. Great value too as we got 20% off having booked with The Fork.

10/10Coming from the culinary industry in New York and Israel, we did a long research to find the best places to eat in Rome. We went to 40 different restaurants in Rome and had the best experience in this one. Amazing food and best service we experienced. Real authentic place. So much caring from the owner. Upgraded our trip in so many levels. Thank you!!! Don’t stop doing what you are doing
