10/10It was an amazing evening. The people were extremely polite and attentive. The food was some of the best we had while in Portugal and the music was wonderfully moving and enjoyable. I would recommend this establishment to everyone.

The food, the service and the show were incredible. We were very thankful that we were able to get a table after there was a misunderstanding with our reservation. We had made reservations 3 months prior to our trip. We showed up at our reservation on time at 8pm and was told that we never confirmed our reservation that day when the restaurant called to confirm. While in another country I did not answer the multiple calls I was getting from all different countries, assuming they were spam calls. The restaurant did not leave a message or text or anything, so they cancelled our reservation. In the end they found us a table. But I would recommend leaving a voicemail or texting the number as there are so may spam calls before just cancelling someone’s reservations.

4/10Service was bad. We got set next to the toilet. Food quality was not great either and way overpriced. They did not let us taste the wine, only option was to buy a bottle - never heard of in Portugal. Ah and they overcharged us so we had to go back and ask them to check the bill. Very much a tourist trap - they don’t care as you never come back anyway!

We enjoyed the ambiance. The service could not have been better… Our waitress was attentive and moved us along so we would have our meal before the performance. We both enjoyed our fish dishes. The portions and taste were just right. The faddo performances were wonderful. We only wished we had some interpretation of each song - didn’t have to be a word for word translation- so we could better appreciate the emotion. The two gentleman sitting next to us were moved to tears for at least one of them. Seating was very close to people on either side … which in the end led to great conversation with another couple from the US. Highly recommend. .

10/10The atmosphere and service was excellent from the movement we walked in. Our waiter was wonderful and spoke very good English, the menu was also in Portuguese, French and English, which was a nice touch. For three people, we had the Octopus Salad, Tuna Steak and the Cod and everything was very nice and the plate size was just right. The Fado show at the end of the night (two separate performances) was a nice touch, while the price point is a bit average street price in Lisbon, in our mind, it was worth it! Make a reservation though!

8/10Staff was running around and paying attention, had to wait 15 min until someone noticed we wanted to pay. Alos, the chairs in your venue make a terrible noise every time someone pulls them in or out, which unfortunately affects the overall experience. A simple solution would be to add felt pads under each leg to protect everyone’s ears.

10/10The owner and vocalist for the Fado show was simply melodious. So gracious and lovely when I made a mistake in my reservation time, accommodating four of us with a table. The Fado show was absolutely amazing and moving in its simplicity. Run to this restaurant!

7/10We had a 9pm reservation and arrived a little early, which was no problem—we were happy to enjoy a drink while waiting. Unfortunately, we ended up waiting much longer than expected and weren’t seated until about 9:40, even after ordering a bottle of wine. Once seated, the food was fine but nothing memorable, especially given the required €40 per person minimum for the dinner/show. The real highlight of the evening was the Fado music, which was absolutely beautiful and moving. Sadly, the overall dining experience didn’t measure up, and while the music was amazing, we wouldn’t return for the full package again.

10/10Small restaurant. Excellent food. Mostly locals. Only a few tourists like us. Did not know about the Fado music when we made the reservation. One seating. Meal followed by Fado. The music goes on to midnight. We left at 10:30 and were the first to leave. So glad we found this place.

8/10The ambiance is great, great atmosphere and great service, really friendly and welcoming. The music is genuine. The food though, can be improved, for a Portuguese taste the cod was a bit blend, not much taste on it, the oxtail stew was too greasy, it deserved a few more hours slow cooking for the meat to be tender and to release most of the fat on it. The fish and prawn soup, could also be improved, it did not tasted to fish at all, it had more a vegetable soup taste than a proper fish soup one.

8.5/10You need to spend a minimum of 40 euros per person to watch the Fado concert, so it is an expensive dinner for portuguese standards. We were 3, and spent 149 with food and drinks. The restaurant was quite full and there was not a lot of space between tables. The AC couldn't handle the amount of people, so it was quite warm. But the food was good and the fado concert very nice too!

10/10I feel as though I can address the majority of the poor reviews of this restaurant. You come here to watch a performance of fado. If you arrive before the fado begins, the service is very quick, they are trying to get your food to you before the fado begins, you can stay after you finish eating! As soon as the fado begins the whole restaurant seems to shut down, there is no sound but the amazing fado. Thus, service slows down. Come in expecting a fantastic performance, and a meal at maybe a strange pace. Service again picks up in almost a frenzy between performances so they don’t disturb any of the show. I promise you it is all worth it. Our favorite dinner in Lisbon. The servers were great, the food was tasty, and the fado (with 2 bonus performers) was amazing.

10/10I was happy to find a fado restaurant with a couple of excellent vegan and vegetarian choices. The music was lovely. The service was friendly. This really capped off our Lisbon visit in a wonderful way.

There is a minimum amount to be spent each meal, which was on the front of the menu with VERY TINY font. so if you miss that, your waiter will NOT remind you, you will be so surprised to hear when you asked for the bill, then you get a whole side eye + lecture how this is not acceptable. Food is below average, does not recommend. btw, the minimum for dinner is 40 EURO per person, cold plate is 20 EURO + 1 glass of sangria was like 15 EURO, again, we do not recommend it.
