Great food our company had the Tuna, sea brass and octopus and wonderful Fado music. Food was reasonably priced, but including the show it was a giveaway

Every dish was wonderful, didn't know octopus could taste as good as that!! Service was efficient, friendly and fast. Fado singers and guitarists were amazing!

Fantastic entertainment but also the waitress was excellent and the mushroom starter and Shrimp risotto and tuna steak main courses were one of the best meals we have enjoyed in Portugal

Whilst visiting Lisbon on a cruise ship, we asked a friend where we should eat and enjoy some authentic music. he had no hesitation in recommending Fama d'Alfama and he was so correct! The whole evening was a pleasure, the decor, the wine, the staff and the Fado music and singing all perfect! The only slight downside would be that the food is very nice, just not "inspired".

Music was amazing. You can stay as long as you want during/after dinner to enjoy the music, they don’t rush you.

Authentic Portuguese restaurant with cozy atmosphere and amazing Fado. The hostess was super friendly and made the visit extraordinary. She gave us recommendation for the wine which was excellent and the price very affordable. Overall a great place to taste food and fado!

We had looked for a nice restaurant with some live music and we were spoilt x. Lovely staff food was the same wine and beer where nice price was what we expected? What more can u ask for when u got everything you asked for 5 stars lovely evening

The fado mystic and substantial cocktails was the best part of the evening. The food was mediocre at best. Very little flavor(halibut) and pork loin came chopped up and very fatty. Bread was also flavorless. Go for the music and food is just an afterthought.

We made our reservations on a night with terrible weather, lots of cold rain, but the house was still half-filled. The meals were elegant (we had the vegetable cream soup; I had the grilled pork and my friend had the oxtails), but the singing was the highlight. The musicians were professional and lovely; the music was a joy. Highly recommend the experience.

What an intimate and beautiful experience. Beautiful fado! My friend and came for the first time and didn’t regret for a second. Our server F. did a fantastic job, food was good, but the atmosphere is what truly gets you! Thank you for such an amazing experience and service ❤️

The location is very nice and the crew is very friendly. Food is alright, but not high quality. Unfortunately food comes short before the first singing season, so eating while singing or waiting - means the food gets cold…😞 The FADO - singers and musicians are extremely good. High recommended to go there.. .

A must see place where Fado passion speaks louder than words. I will absolutely go back. Make sure you eat what you have ordered.

New Years Eve Fado evening surpassed our expectations. This restaurant and music is a must for all visitors to Lisbon.

Service was good. Fado music was excellent. The food overpriced, but most importantly bad. The octopus peace was small done in the flour with bacon that was overpowering any octopus taste. The next door table complaint that their clams were old, and the table from the other side that food was cold inside. Do not recommend or ever will go back.

What a beautiful place! Elegant yet homey. I did book last minute for my son and I on our last night, so I didn’t expect the best seats, however we were stuck in a corner so when the fado show began and couldn’t see anything. Also, we’re were first there but our main was served last and when the fado show began. As a sign of respect we couldn’t eat during the show so 20 minutes later our meals were cold. The music and the fado was wonderful and we would definitely do this again albeit with a few changes.

Exceptional experience - one of the best dining experiences in my life. I am well traveled, but the food and music experience at Fama d’Alfama brought me to tears. So beautiful. I cannot recommend enough. I will be talking about this for the rest of my life.

The restaurant is very cosy, with many options for all tastes, and of course good wines. It allowed us to get in touch with the Portuguese "Fado", the national type of music in this great country, if I may call it so, in a show full of beautiful voices and great musicians.
