9/10Restaurant is very cute and nice, people are pleasant, food is also nice but not too many to choose. White sangria is the best there. The only think that could be better is that Fado lasts more, because there are only 4 songs during 1 hour, and it would be nice to be longer.

10/10Food was incredible - loved the octopus tempura and codfish fritters. Service was really good too and the waitress was really friendly. It was our first time listening to Fado and it was a really interesting experience. :)

10/10A very cosy restaurant with a courteous welcome. The entire meal was a delight. The best octopus we've ever had! The cheese platter was also delicious! Be prepared to take your time eating and enjoying the show, which lasts at least 2 hours.

10/10Food and service were fantastic, but the best part was the live fado and choro. The musicians were really good. I loved how much care and respect the staff and musicians showed for delivering a proper fado experience.

6.5/10Good and efficient service and clearly a popular venue. Beware that the water and olives/bread already on the table when you arrive are not complimentary. Food was fresh. Knowing the history of Fado the atmosphere felt more tailored than authentic

10/10We were moved to tears by the fado. We have to leave for the airport in 4 hours and cannot pull ourselves away. Worth all of the tired we will feel tomorrow!! Absolutely beautiful experience

9/10Wonderful atmosphere, fantastic professional artists and great food! Be prepared to understand that when musicians are playing service paused out of respect for the artists.. There were some patrons that didn’t understand this. Best not to come if you have somewhere else to be. Or mention upon arrival to your server the time that you need to depart Aug necessary.

5/10The music and atmosphere was magic.. singing amazing..the service very slow. Part of this they don't serve during music. I understand this now. Didn't know when we're there.. mixed reviews on food..I had sea food spaghetti. It was delicious. Large portion. Tasty..my partner had cod. Oh my god. We are easily pleased but this was the worst meal ever. Took ages to be served. Dinner came out cold. Spinach was cold. Potatos cold..the cod was cold but even worse it was tasteless and full of bones. Portion was tiny.... awful pity. Was I first and worst meal in Portugal. Maybe worst we've ever had..the staff we lovely. The music and singers out of this world

10/10The food and service were amazing! It is also famous for its fado singers and musicians. They perform for about 15 minutes each hour beginning about 9 pm. No talking or service while they perform. We thought we would stay for maybe two performances but because of the superb entertainment and ambience we stayed for all four! Finally leaving about midnight! A highlight of our visit to Lisbon.

10/10We ordered sea food, sea bass and tuna steak. It was one of the best fish diners I ate. I know what I'm saying because I live at Adriatic sea and I know how to prepare a fish and visited a lot of fish restaurants. Fado music was very emotional and wonderful. Some special guests were introduced spontaneously... can't decide who was better. Service was perfect. Not enough words in my slim english vocabulary to describe my happiness and emotions. Respect. This is a must see - taste.

10/10We had the "Codfish à lagareiro" and "Octopus in tempura" and they were two of the best fish meals I ever tasted. The wine was great. The waiter Guendo was very charming and polite and quick. The "Pastéis de bacalhau" were not the best we tried in Lisbon, especially for the price (15 euro), but the tratidional sweet Quindim was very tasty. The artists were also great, and gave us a great performance. Overall, the atmosphere was extremely pleasant, and everyone around us seemed to have a good time. We spent 113 euro in total (2 people), which did not seem that much as the artists gave us a touching performance and the food was extraordinary for the most part. Would definitely recommend!
