Wonderful experience. The service was kind and the food was delicious! The Fado experience during dinner was nothing we had done before and the music was beautiful. Definitely make the reservation to get in!

Energy and atmosphere was very positive and cozy. Food was at high standard and quality. Musicians were great. We liked especially the interaction among them, letting room for small solo parts or piano + voice only song. Thanks for creating this experience for us!

It was an amazing evening. The people were extremely polite and attentive. The food was some of the best we had while in Portugal and the music was wonderfully moving and enjoyable. I would recommend this establishment to everyone.

The food, the service and the show were incredible. We were very thankful that we were able to get a table after there was a misunderstanding with our reservation. We had made reservations 3 months prior to our trip. We showed up at our reservation on time at 8pm and was told that we never confirmed our reservation that day when the restaurant called to confirm. While in another country I did not answer the multiple calls I was getting from all different countries, assuming they were spam calls. The restaurant did not leave a message or text or anything, so they cancelled our reservation. In the end they found us a table. But I would recommend leaving a voicemail or texting the number as there are so may spam calls before just cancelling someone’s reservations.

Service was bad. We got set next to the toilet. Food quality was not great either and way overpriced. They did not let us taste the wine, only option was to buy a bottle - never heard of in Portugal. Ah and they overcharged us so we had to go back and ask them to check the bill. Very much a tourist trap - they don’t care as you never come back anyway!

We enjoyed the ambiance. The service could not have been better… Our waitress was attentive and moved us along so we would have our meal before the performance. We both enjoyed our fish dishes. The portions and taste were just right. The faddo performances were wonderful. We only wished we had some interpretation of each song - didn’t have to be a word for word translation- so we could better appreciate the emotion. The two gentleman sitting next to us were moved to tears for at least one of them. Seating was very close to people on either side … which in the end led to great conversation with another couple from the US. Highly recommend. .

The atmosphere and service was excellent from the movement we walked in. Our waiter was wonderful and spoke very good English, the menu was also in Portuguese, French and English, which was a nice touch. For three people, we had the Octopus Salad, Tuna Steak and the Cod and everything was very nice and the plate size was just right. The Fado show at the end of the night (two separate performances) was a nice touch, while the price point is a bit average street price in Lisbon, in our mind, it was worth it! Make a reservation though!

Staff was running around and paying attention, had to wait 15 min until someone noticed we wanted to pay. Alos, the chairs in your venue make a terrible noise every time someone pulls them in or out, which unfortunately affects the overall experience. A simple solution would be to add felt pads under each leg to protect everyone’s ears.

The owner and vocalist for the Fado show was simply melodious. So gracious and lovely when I made a mistake in my reservation time, accommodating four of us with a table. The Fado show was absolutely amazing and moving in its simplicity. Run to this restaurant!

We had a 9pm reservation and arrived a little early, which was no problem—we were happy to enjoy a drink while waiting. Unfortunately, we ended up waiting much longer than expected and weren’t seated until about 9:40, even after ordering a bottle of wine. Once seated, the food was fine but nothing memorable, especially given the required €40 per person minimum for the dinner/show. The real highlight of the evening was the Fado music, which was absolutely beautiful and moving. Sadly, the overall dining experience didn’t measure up, and while the music was amazing, we wouldn’t return for the full package again.
