9.5/10The food was so delicious and fresh. The service was spot on at the start of the meal, but as the restaurant got busier it seemed to lag. This wouldn’t stop me from going back or recommending it, however.

We really enjoyed our meal at Farol de Santa Lucia. Probably the best meal we have had during our stay in Lisbon. Would definitely recommend but make sure you book!

Service was incredibly overwhelmed. They simply couldn’t keep up, and got orders incorrectly, forgot to bring things, and couldn’t do more than pause for 1 second before running off to the next table.

+3Definitely the best Portuguese restaurant I’ve tried in more than a decade. Absolutely delicious! From the starters to the deserts it was a blast, the tenderloin steak just melted in my mouth. If I could give 11/10 stars I would. Thank you!

I would have never come here if it wasn’t for the yums discount I had available (particularly because of its location in a very touristy part of town where it’s hard to park). But I have to say it was a pleasant surprise. I had the octopus with sweet potato mash and it was delicious. Very tender! The portion size was ok, but could be a little more generous. The service was friendly and attentive.

8/10Server may have been owner, but he handled a lot of tables. Overall, service ok. Octopus Salad excellent, pork chunks and clams, great sauce. Clams excellent. Pork a little dry.

7.5/10The service was very slow. We had to wait a long time for a table (even though we had a reservation). But the waiters were very nice. In the dining area, it smelled like a toilet (chlorine). That was strange. But the food was tasty.

The octopus was incredibly delicious and the combination of flavors in the dish was absolutely amazing! The service was also excellent with a very friendly waiter and specially thanks for the salad! Thanks for very nice evening 👌🏻

Fine service, although our server was caring for the entire restaurant which was quite busy. Clams were very minuscule in a so/so preparation. However the grouper and the octopus were just great!

6.5/10Their litre of Sangria could have been accompanied with a handful of fruit especially when charging $19.00 Euro and the mussels were the smallest in size and portion I’ve ever ordered but the sauce was very tasty. A hit and miss experience.

We grabbed a last minute reservation here will catching the sunset at Miradouro das Portas do Sol. The atmosphere was relaxed and the servers were very kind and helpful. We shared a pitcher of sangria, had two delicious entrees, and two desserts! The cost was so reasonable and food worth it. We would definitely come back again!

7.5/10This was such a cozy spot and we had a really engaging server, but most of our meal sat in the window for quite a long time, so didn't come out particularly hot. Two of the four had the seafood risotto, and compared to other dishes we had in the area, it really had minimal seafood in it. However, we enjoyed the overall experience. We had a nice bottle of wine and the dining room is quite cozy. I would go back and try again on a less busy night and try some other dishes.

Amazing and friendly service, we got the fish stew for two, a bit expensive but still very good! The potatoes served as a side were a bit bland, but the main dish was delicious. Would definitely recommend!

5.5/10We reserved a table several weeks ago but when we arrived, no table was available and the owner wanted to seat us in a back room where there were no other diners. We refused and so we had to wait until a table was available. The wait wasn’t long but people who arrived after us without a reservation were not shown to the back room and were given better located tables than we had. Finally, the food was okay but not more than that. Would I recommend this restaurant? Definitely not.

7/10The place seemed nice with perfect location but the service was not friendly or welcoming. We were 2 ladies with just light appetite and it seemed annoying to the staff that we want only starters and some wine. If the place was full with guests send away due to lack of space I would understand it well. But it was rather empty. Food and wine were ok.

10/10I had eaten here 10 years earlier with my son. I remembered an incredible Portuguese meal with a wonderful atmosphere. My wife and I and some friends of ours, were in Lisbon this May, and I told them we had to check out this incredible restaurant that our son and I had dinner at 10 years earlier. I found the place, made a reservation, it's a good thing I did, and proceeded to get Wowed. My wife and I got the seafood stew cooked in a copper pot with some delicious local white wine. We also got a misto salad that worked well with the seafood stew. Our friends both had the chicken dish and they loved it. For dessert, we had the cheesecake. It was light and very flavorful. It's not like a New York cheesecake which is more dense. I recommend this place enthusiastically. Make sure you make reservations to make sure you have a place at the table. You will not be dissappointed.

It is a cozy traditional restaurant with pretty tiles on the walls. The service was very pleasant annd attentive and we were not rushed at all. The food was delicious. We tried the croquettes, and the shrimps and mussel risotto as well as the grouper. Everything was fresh and so tasty. We shared a traditional Portuguese dessert and they put a candle in it for my daughter - I had forgotten that I mentioned her birthday when I booked online so it was great they remembered. Our server was very sweet and the owner made sure all was well too. Located in the historic Alfama district which is away from the hustle and bustle Enjoy!of busier areas.
