The restaurant is in a back street near the Trevi fountain. You wouldn’t find it by mistake. At 6 pm, which is early by Roman standards, we were the first and only customers & we felt very much like we were intruding. The manager/host spent a lot of time on his phone and vaping at a table a a bit away from us. The food was fine, nothing special. Service was perfunctory.

Just a short walk away from the mass of people at the Trevi fountain, down a narrow street sits an unassuming little spot for a great meal. The owner will give you recommendations, both the food and wine was excellent.

Only if we haven’t been in Italy for numerous times, from this service experience we’d think that they’re rudest service providers. The waiter took 30minutes just to pay attention to us, when he did, shortly after he got distracted and abandoned us - hanging for another 15 minutes. Later when food arrived and my friend was missing her plate, he asked what was missing and we told him (which again, he should’ve remembered- but whatever). 2 of us finished our food and hers was still nowhere to be seen. At the end turned out that he didn’t put in the order and when I expressed my dissatisfaction he asked about my nationality (what a disgrace). Arivederci, never coming here again

Carbonara was great. Seafood risotto not so much. The seafood smelled quite a bit so we won't recommend the risotto to the others. They charged us for the bread but hadn't let us know or had it listed on their menu so we were surprised to see it on our bill. This was the first restaurant we were charged for bread. The music was very loud and was constantly getting cut off.

Disappointing experience. .Although the dishes were served quickly, the pasta my wife ordered was a bit sticky but moderately tasty. The squid I ordered was a bit tough and extremely salty. Overall, we did not enjoy it and there is definitely much, much room for improvement. What was worst was that even though we ordered the meal through "TheFork" and were supposed to receive a 40% discount, we paid full price

Appetizers were good, but there were technical issue with the ravioli, several were open and stuck together. Meatball pasta was good (pasta al dente) and had a nice taste to it. Main course had more issues. Chicken was dry and lacking seasoning, event salt. Filet was prepared with the membrane, causing issues with texture and taste. Only the middle part was edible. Absolutely delicious restaurant unassumingly tucked away near the Trevi Fountain. All the other tables seemed to be Italians so we knew it would be good. The octopus salad, cacio e pepe and grilled whole sea bass were particular highlights for us. Will definitely return on our next trip!

Dinner was excellent. Food was just what we felt like, atmosphere was cosy and relaxed. Felt easy to talk in. Not too loud not too quiet. We’re given an excellent wine recommendation and outstanding service. Would love to return some day.
