The food was decent, but I expected more given that it’s Rome. The dessert wasn’t discounted, which wasn’t clearly stated on the restaurant’s page. Overall, though, the food, service, and location were all good.

10/10!! We ordered the Cacio, pepe e tartufo - they freshly grated the truffle mushroom right onto the fresh pasta. Delicious! The best steak we’ve ever had… Tagliata. Please whatever you do, order it! The lasagna…. oh my god. The flavor bomb. Then finish with tiramisu, seriously we’re eating this at one of the best dinners we’ve ever had!

The restaurant is in a back street near the Trevi fountain. You wouldn’t find it by mistake. At 6 pm, which is early by Roman standards, we were the first and only customers & we felt very much like we were intruding. The manager/host spent a lot of time on his phone and vaping at a table a a bit away from us. The food was fine, nothing special. Service was perfunctory.

Just a short walk away from the mass of people at the Trevi fountain, down a narrow street sits an unassuming little spot for a great meal. The owner will give you recommendations, both the food and wine was excellent.

Only if we haven’t been in Italy for numerous times, from this service experience we’d think that they’re rudest service providers. The waiter took 30minutes just to pay attention to us, when he did, shortly after he got distracted and abandoned us - hanging for another 15 minutes. Later when food arrived and my friend was missing her plate, he asked what was missing and we told him (which again, he should’ve remembered- but whatever). 2 of us finished our food and hers was still nowhere to be seen. At the end turned out that he didn’t put in the order and when I expressed my dissatisfaction he asked about my nationality (what a disgrace). Arivederci, never coming here again
