10/10This restaurant know how to grill fish!! The clams were great, but size of the clams were tiny. We had fish of the day, and it was grilled spot on!

8/10The duck breast was nice but the octopus was overcooked and a bit burnt. The staffs were nice but the tables were very closed to each other. We were arranged to sit in front of the the kitchen even I remarked it was a birthday dinner which was not nice.

10/10What a delightful evening! Our dinner was delicious, and the service by Ewerton was superb. I enjoyed the gazpacho and eggplant. My husband loved the beautifully charred octopus. Make sure that you have reservations, Frade dos Mares is an intimate yet popular restaurant.

9/10We really liked our evening there. The food was superb! The hostess and the waiters were great! My only complaint is that they had just finished serving the bread/butter/olives when they brought out our starters so we had no time to enjoy the bread, and with the small table there wasn’t really room for everything. The starters (prawns and crevice) were superb. The main was the salt baked sea bream which was great also. The desserts were really really good. All in all, except for the small hiccup of the timing of the starters it was a really great night.

9.5/10Excellent food and delightful service by Ati the waiter. Amazing Polvo Lagareiro. Lemon pie and chocolate mousse with sour cherry liquor. And even of the table had the candle off and was net to toilettes access door the experience was sooo worth it. Highly reccommended!

2/10Deplorable, unprofessional service. No drinks menu if you don't have a smartphone! Restaurant for tourists, very noisy, any kind of decoration. They are in a hurry to see you off to make room for others. World cuisine, but not Portuguese. The "peixe do dia" was already gone by 7.30pm.

8.5/10The food is exceptional! Very fresh and delicious. The service needs improvement, as we were being rushed from our table. We would have loved to stay longer and have some more lovely wine.
