10/10Our evening at Frade Dos Mares was a delight from start to finish. The quality of the food was excellent. Deep intense flavours that complimented one another beautifully. The ambiance of the restaurant was welcoming and stylish and the waiting staff were friendly and attentive without being distracting. As well as all this the cost was incredibly reasonable for such a very fine experience. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

10/10The broiled sea bass was outstanding... as was the service provided by Tharcyc. This was a first-class experience from the time we walked in the door. Great ambiance! When we come back to Lisbon, we will return to Frade Dos Mares!

10/10Astoundingly fresh seafood cooked to perfection! A sumptuous dinner taken to a higher level by superb waiter Wiki who brought out the perfect wine pairing for our starters of prawns in garlic and chilli! The catch of the day - sea bream and sea bass fillets - are not to be missed as they were extremely fresh. Wiki and team accommodated our earlier request for a quieter table when it came available, when normally that would have been ignored once we’ve been seated. Made the evening very special indeed. From us, thank you/terimakasih!

I went to this restaurant on my mother's birthday. The dishes were all delicious, but the octopus grill was especially great. The restaurant atmosphere and service were good, and it was a special birthday dinner.

9.5/10After reading lots of good things about this place we had the chance to get a table and we were grateful for that because all has been just perfect. I would like to mention a very attentive service still friendly and professional. But food…great experience indeed, we had pulpo , rice with shrimps and several starters. Wine suggestion was correct on price/quality ratio. Final bill fair with restaurant level. Absolutely delicious and to repeat next time to Lisbon. Thanks again for hosting us.

10/10My wife and I had a memorable meal here on our first trip to Lisbon about 5 years ago, so we decided to go back on a longer, return trip. We're very glad we did. The food and service were top-notch, and the restaurant has a nice, intimate feel.

9/10We had Valentines Dinner. Set menu, 5 courses and paired vines. Very nice food, taste and presentation. Only desert (pistachio Tiramisu) was a bit disappointing. Taste was fantastic but a bit dry.

6/10We have known Frade Dos Mares for years and before last evenings visit truly loved the restaurant and promoted it to anyone who asked about a place to eat in Lisbon. The food was only OK, the waiter first assigned was changed to a very good and fun waiter who made the interface enjoyable. I must say that the food was ordinary, the ambiance poor and the temperature in the room was quite cold. The seating is very close to other tables, so really no privacy. We were very much looking forward to dining at Frade Dos Mares, but were quite disappointed when we experienced dinner last night.
