The food was amazing: we had the octopus, the codfish and the prawns risotto which were all delicious and very tasty. The waiter Wiki was very very kind. I highly recommend

10/10The tuna ceviche was perfect as was the duck breast . We have been many times to Frade Dos Mares . The food is always delicious and we rate it as one of the best restaurants in Lisbon . We had very attentive service from our waitress Ruby.

10/10My husband and I visited Frade Dos Mares twice during the week we were in Lisbon and enjoyed both visits, both the wonderful food and the inviting ambiance. The Portuguese seafood was a special treat. We hope to visit Lisbon and Frade Dos Mares again.

10/10Cosy atmosphere, authentic surroundings, simple but quality menu. Food was exceptional and service from Ewerton a sheer delight- nothing too much trouble , friendly and efficient.

8/10Lovely restaurant with fast service and delicious food. The ceviche is bright and refreshing, the shrimp gambas is rich and flavorful, and the octopus is beautifully tender. A very enjoyable meal overall.

7.5/10The food.was great as always but the service was much better at earlier visits. They brought the cutlery of the next course already while we where having the first course. The wine was too cold, At the end they literally kicked us out as they sold our reserved table again while we were there. I think for a while I will avoid the restaurant. The kitchen did a great job, but that's it

9.5/10Octopus signature dish is great. Veg soup nice. Grilled Fish is good. Fish ceviche is ok. Service from Douglas is good. We enjoyed our dinner. Needed to wait for a while for our red wine to get to the right temperature, it was served too cold. Manager was helpful in getting us a cab, back to our hotel. There is a huge construction hole, in front of the restaurant, as mentioned by many other diners. Just cross the road and in front or at the back of that hole, you will find that there is a little "corridor " that allows you to get to the restaurant. To get into the restaurant, press the bell on the right...I honestly don't know why is this necessary, don't like this step.

10/10This was our second time dining at Frade Dos Mares and a perfect choice for our final night in Lisbon. The fried prawns were AMAZING!!!!! 10/10. The sea bass was cooked perfectly. The octopus croquettes were tasty. We ended the night with cheesecake. Ruby is delightful and the other staff made this a wonderful experience.

+1Beautiful dishes from start to finish - fresh, tasty, can’t fault anything. Waiters are so attentive and pleasant. One of them patiently corrected my poor Portuguese. Definitely recommend this for anyone who visit Lisboa. Muitas obrigadas!

10/10The fastest serving we have ever experienced and all the dishes were great. Very attentive staff and we were very impressed by the whole logistic setup of the restaurant from we came to when we left and were treated like longtime regular customer. All the staff was very professional from the head servant to the new one - Ewerton which did a really good job and we were surprised he had just started. We visited many great restaurants during our stay and Frade Dos Mares was where we got the best experience for the amount we paid.

The food was exceptional. Had the shrimp and clam appetizers, the octopus main, and a couple of desserts. The service was exceptional. A must when in Lisbon.

10/10Wonderful experience, food and service were excellent. All dishes were well prepared and delicious. Recommend the Octopus or Prawn salads ad a starter. We had grilled Bream and vegetables, very good.

10/10The ambiance in the restaurant is very nice, calm and a nice pace for dinner. The drinks were great but the food it what stood out. The fish was excellent (Bass and Shrimp), well cooked and almost no bones in the bass which was amazing. A good portion but not too much, side vegetables also excellent. We also had the tuna tartare which was outstanding. I highly recommend this restaurant
