10/10This place is hands down the best place for seafood. I tried their fish soup, sea bream, and seabass. All of those dishes were delicious and perfectly cooked. Highly recommended,

9/10This a small bistro-style restaurant with the tables quite close together. The staff provide fabulous service and make great recommendations regarding the wines to go with the food. The food is really outstanding and all the dishes were great. If you love octopus, be sure to order it here. They are renown for it and it was SO good. Portions are big so you will not go away hungry. Prices are amazing reasonable. Highly recommended.

They made our night so special. Our waiter was so attentive. They even gave us a complimentary birthday cake and 2 drinks. The food was prepared with culinary expertise. We will be back during our next visit to Lisbon. You will not be disappointed.

Frade dos Mares is the real deal — come hungry and come with a reservation. The octopus is outstanding. Perfectly cooked, full of flavor, exactly what you hope for in a Lisbon seafood restaurant. The service matched it every step of the way — warm, attentive, and genuinely energetic. The whole place has a buzz to it that makes the meal even better. I watched several couples get turned away at the door on a Saturday night — this place was absolutely packed. Do yourself a favor and book ahead. Don't show up hoping to wing it. Highly recommend. One of the best meals of my trip to Lisbon.

Staff was excellent and attentive to everyone and everything. Food would be classified as superb. I’ve already recommend to friends back home. This could easily be one of my favorite places in the world to visit again and again. Staff felt like family
