Cosy, intimate atmosphere, friendly helpful staff. Small menu full of delicious di she’s that made it hard to choose from. Only small issue the bacalao was a little over salty.

My wife and I had a memorable meal here on our first trip to Lisbon about 5 years ago, so we decided to go back on a longer, return trip. We're very glad we did. The food and service were top-notch, and the restaurant has a nice, intimate feel.

We had Valentines Dinner. Set menu, 5 courses and paired vines. Very nice food, taste and presentation. Only desert (pistachio Tiramisu) was a bit disappointing. Taste was fantastic but a bit dry.

Very good cod fish “a lagareiro”. A good standard restaurant but not so sophisticated that it doesn't leave us feeling at ease. 10 minutes by taxi from “praça do comércio”.

We have known Frade Dos Mares for years and before last evenings visit truly loved the restaurant and promoted it to anyone who asked about a place to eat in Lisbon. The food was only OK, the waiter first assigned was changed to a very good and fun waiter who made the interface enjoyable. I must say that the food was ordinary, the ambiance poor and the temperature in the room was quite cold. The seating is very close to other tables, so really no privacy. We were very much looking forward to dining at Frade Dos Mares, but were quite disappointed when we experienced dinner last night.

Nice small fish restaurant perfectly situated, in a not too touristy location with great food and very pleasant waiters ! Wiki was very good at his job, spoke even some Dutch words and made it an enjoyable experience ! We recommend the place.

The food was super good and the service was just perfect. Our server Douglas was very friendly and kind. He took care of our table during the whole dinner. We ordered polvo and bacalhau, and both of them were so tender and tasty.
