10/10Great from the initial greeting to the second Amaro di Capo! Everything about this meal was excellent. The staff couldn’t be more helpful and the food was beautiful. Thank you for a lovely evening!

5/10The table for three people is too small, making it uncomfortable. Additionally, one person has to stand up to allow another customer to pass through because the tables are set too close together, leaving no room for passage.

10/10HAD TO GO BACK! My wife and I usually do not visit the same restaurant twice in one trip. Franco Rossi restaurant was an exception. Nice Local place family owned since 1975. Local vibe is great. We had to try different meals. It was all so good. Asparagus risotto , Beef cheeks, traditional tagliatelle Bolognese. The first night. Red Tuna carpaccio, Grilled lamb ribs, Rigatoni Carbonara. A must try. Recommend a reservation. Locals start coming. On the Fork site works well. Buon Appétit 🇮🇹

A restaurant with potential… but they sadly doesn’t focus enough on the wine.. 3 of the 4 courses where delicious (soufflé, sea bass and panna cotta.) The 4th course was braised cheeks of veal. The meat was tender, but the sauce where way to salty.. a shame. The staff where very friendly and helpful.. And although it was a busy evening, they where attentive and didn’t leave anyone waiting. Sadly thy lack of focus on wine. Overall a experience just above mediocre..

6.5/10I had some fond memories of our visit to the restaurant in the summer. Now the tables were too close, the food ok, one of the waitresses not very friendly. We were a little disappointed.

Very nice place to eat, with a personal touch from the chef. You see people and you feel how they care about the quality of the food, service and everything. My friend recommended us this place because of lasagna and it was perfect. We also ate tiramisu and it was very tasty.

2/10First bad meal in Bologna. Artichoke salad had no flavor. Lamb was overcooked to the point where it was barely edible. Service was incredibly slow. It took over an hour for our main course to be served after we had finished our appetizer. Had to ask multiple times to receive a second glass of wine. Our most expensive meal during our 4 day stay and by far the least enjoyable.

9.5/10we passed by this restaurant while walking through the cobblestone Street of bologna. It was a delightful outdoor patio setting with exquisite indoor tables as well. We knew we wanted to eat there and we were not disappointed after doing so. The wine list was superb and the service was great as well. Traditional bologna Dishes were offered and were delicious

7.5/10Not the first time there but service was really bad. Despite booking a table we were given a street table, had to ask several times to be served and in the end they couldn't even call a taxi. When bologna is busy is half an hour to get a cab. Food was great though

10/10This is a family restaurant one of the oldest in Bologna if I could give more than 10 out of 10 for food service and wine advice I would you must book in advance if you won’t to go in the evening dress to empress very smart casual will definitely be back again next year .

6.5/10It es a very delicious Dinner. Good Meat and noodles. But the Service was Not very good. The waiters were Not very friendly, just rushing with the orders, no patience, talking behind the back about us. All in all ist was ok. The Meal was very tasty but everything else (ambiente, very noisy, Service, …) was Not What We expected from a restaurant with that evaluation.

10/10The food was excellent but the real star here is the staff. We were sat next to a table of fellow American tourists who spoke no Italian, expected all staff members to speak English, and attempted to order complicated substitutions in English (including a custom drink that sounded, frankly, pretty gross). I speak enough Italian to understand the conversations of the staff, and in both languages, they couldn’t have been kinder, more patient, or more accommodating. 10/10 professionalism all around. If we had longer in the city we would absolutely be making another trip to Franco Rossi. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

8/10Everything was great with food, service and atmosphere. Only issue keeping from 5/5 stars is that we did not receive any 20% discount even on the food, like it was advertised on TripAdvisor or The Fork; We did pay full price for everything.

6/10Franco Rossi is a very traditional restaurant close to Bologna city center. Its cuisine is traditional as well, without any innovative or inventive twist but offering dishes in line with the local tradition. The setting as well is rather dull but the location is good.

8/10We used our 2000 Yums for a reservation with 50€ discount. Despite of the nice weather outside we got placed inside on a small table. The food was good but very small portions and very expensive. Compared to other venues, the coperto with €3,50 was also on the expensive side. Alltogether it was okay, good food but bad value for money.

6.5/10Food quality doesn’t match service at all. Had to ask everything twice, The fork discount wrongly applied on final bill. Had the impression that they didn’t treat us properly cause we were dining with a promo. We won’t go back again.

10/10An excellent restaurant with great food and friendly staff. We had the Octopus Carpaccio and the Salmon staters which were large portions, and veal kidneys and a local pasta dish. The food was delicious. The waiter recommended a cherry and custard dessert which got the whole restaurant talking. We tried the local Merlot wine. Highly recommended.
