+1This is a lovely restaurant. Service is friendly and impeccable. The food was beyond compare. The 70s pop and classic lounge music sets a fun atmosphere. We will definitely return the next time we are in Paris.

Welcoming was great, drinks/wine and appetizers (oysters and tuna tartare) excellent. Dinner served - excellent - all ready for coffee and dessert , which never happened!! 45 minutes went by.........waiter disappeared......we finally asked for the check and left no tip. Classic French business - lost money on no dessert, no coffee, no after dinner drinks, no tip - probably $200 plus...........oh well, C'est la vie.........

+2Outstanding service. The food was exceptional. We had the good fortune to visit Gaya while in Paris on our honeymoon. It did not disappoint. It was romantic and intimate while also being cozy and inviting. Staff was top notch and treated us so well. We will definitely return to Gaya on our next trip to Paris!

+1You go to a place and instantly feel warmly welcomed, appreciated and taken care of— THAT. If you are looking for good French food in Paris, there are uncountable options to choose from; come to GAYA because they know how to be hospitable yet subtle. We were deeply impressed by the staff, they are the stars of this place. And the food? That’s a whole new story— they made us virgin mojitos even though it wasn’t on the menu.

The restaurant is much nicer the all photos found on the internet. Ambience is cozy and at the same time elegant. Service is superb as in personal, professional and warm. The food is a true 1 star Michelin. even so Paris lacks no offer, Gaya is one to return.

Very good atmosphere. I like the entré (oyster) very much

The food and ambiance were consistent with a one star Michelin experience, meaning very enjoyable, even if the staff seemed a bit pressured at times. Lovely wine list. Our evening was marred by two glitches: first, 2 of the dishes that I ordered from the menu were not available, so 2 of my 3 first choices were not possible. Second, my hat went missing in the cloakroom ( the beret was stuffed in my jacket sleeve); while they looked diligently, no offer was made to make up for the loss (a copy of the chef’s book or some other token of apology would have been appropriate). A nice meal, but with some definite minuses.

We wanted to find a good fish restaurant in Paris and Gaya fit the bill. We started with a glass of champagne. After the amuse bouche, we had the large crab appetizer and the red tuna tartare. Both were very good: the red tuna tartare was light but filling and the crab was mixed with mayonnaise, and still good. We split the sole meuniere and ordered a side of the girolles (mushrooms) with almonds. This was excellent. We told the waiter that my wife was lactose intolerant and he held his hand on his stomach and said "Me too." Then, when they brought the mushrooms, they split it into two plates: one for me, with the cheese, and one for my wife, without it. Very considerate! The sole came with a caulflower / buckwheat mixture, in a bowl, somewhat thick and very tasty. I had a glass of a white wine from the Cote de Provence. I read the wine list and they have a good selection of champagnes, wines from the Loire and Burgundy (Tortochot, Domaine de Perdrix, Chateau de Chamirey, etc.) The interior is quite comfortable - a calming dark green, with a set of posts for a divider between the different sections of the restaurant - and a beautiful and modern glass-enclosed wine cellar. There are windows to the street along one side. Most of all, the waiters were very friendly and seemed to genuinely get along, the service was both attentive and casual at the same time. We are often in Paris and have put this restaurant on our list of places to return to.

Great food experience. Great service. Our main course took a bit too long to arrive but it was great when it came.

Overall, the food is good, but the dessert is unremarkable compare to other dishes. The service is very disappointing. The waiters never refill the glass even it’s empty for a long time. Our wine isn’t refill as well until we ask them to do so eventually. And no more refills after that until the end of the dinner. However, the service on other tables, who are Europeans, were excellent. Moreover, the waitress who wears a pair of glasses shouted at one of us just because he pick up the cover by himself. This dinning experience is the worst we had ever have from any French restaurants. The only star is offer to the security guard at the front door who is being passionate.

Delicious food and beautifully presented and served. Nothing over overly nor undersalted and the service was discreet and not wordy- no lengthy explanations of each dish so we could talk uninterrupted. The wine by the glass list was short but well chosen and all 3 courses were served at a gentl pace. Loved it
