9.5/10The cuisine here is innovative and memorable, with the 10-course tasting menu including scallops, Wagyu beef and a series of amazing dessert courses. Wine recommendations matched beautifully and we loved the evening. The only slight negative is how noisy the restaurant got as other tables drank more and got increasingly loud. Some attention to decor to help moderate this would be a good idea as the furnishing is quite Scandinavian so sound is amplified. But again the food and service were top notch!

10/10We opted for the full Carte Blanche with wine pairing. It was a meal that captivated our senses. The presentations were stunning, the flavors complex and layered, and the ambience was relaxing, allowing for the experience to be enhanced. The service was thoughtful and well-paced. We loved every course, but my favorite was the scallop with white beans. The scallop, properly prepared and complimented, brought tears to my eyes. It was extremely fresh, perfectly seared and seasoned. It was placed on a light, yet complex sauce that included white beans I was unfamiliar with. At first I raised my eyebrow to the white beans, but they worked so well together. The creamy, yet firm texture of the beans, with the light sauce did not over power the scallop. It made the flavors and sensation more luscious.

There is a feeling of care that exudes from a restaurant team when they are focused on a great experience. They are happy for you. Geosmine happily gave us an unforgettable experience. We are grateful! 11 courses, plus fromage, perfect recommendations from the sommilier, attentive service. Each bite a creation of flavor and texture. This may seem over the top, the meal may take 2-3 hours, but every bite is worth it and we enjoyed every minute. While we do not often find meals like this, we have found many. Geosmine ranks at the top. Chef and team, thank you.

9/10+5The food is incredible, there is no question about that. I believe this restaurant will get a Michelin star eventually, or they are trying to get one, but the night we were there the service was inconsistent in the time between dishes. It might have been an off night, the chef seemed to be unhappy and was seen on the line helping out. The dishes went from 10 minutes (3 dishes) apart to 15 (2 dishes), then 20 (2 dishes), then 30 (2 dishes), then 15 (3 dishes). The knife was also not sharp enough that I could not easily cut through the sea bass or chicken, and while these are small things, it is what will set them apart from other restaurants to get a Michelin star. The Croque-Monsieur was single-handedly one of my top 2 favorite dishes in Paris. The price was also up there with Osteria Francescana and The Clove Club, and I don’t think the service was there to be charging that amount.

9.5/10Recently opened and very modern, its very clear from the start that this a young ambitious team - from the service to the food, the approach was bold and innovative. Decor is simple and Scandinavian, and it was lovely to peek into the kitchen and see the cohesiveness in their communication and role assignment. Price is more than fair for this standard in Paris, and with a bit more experience and balance and elevation in flavour, they will reach Michelin status in no time.

10/10Great culinary experience! We sat at the bar facing the kitchen and this made the night even more special. Being able to watch the chef and his time working on their wondeful creations was unique. Excellent food, great service, nice ambiance, excellent staff. Definately a place to visit....and to return.

10/10+4To say that this was a good restaurant would be a lie. There was nothing “good” about it at all. Everything was excellent this evening as the two of us ordered the 12 course dinner experience. 3 1/2 hours of wonderful service with in-depth explanations on each dish, with each being better than the last one. What a wonderful meal in Paris that was on par with the other Michelin star restaurants we visited. The staff was friendly, with excellent service. The presentation was only surpassed by the taste of each item. I can only hope one of the staff translates rhis review for him (his English is limited)

10/10Exceptional meal from the very first bite. Wow. Expressive flavors and unique dishes that flow to tell a scintillating story in a friendly and inviting atmosphere. Felt like eating at a friend's home, if that friend were a world class wizard of food. Wines were excellent. There is no wine pairing, but if you ask for one they'll pair you by the glass.

10/10Geosmine is whimsical, delicious, and not too fussy. Overall, the experience is like taking a walk through the woods. We started with a recreation of a pastry using melon instead of Mille feuille puff pastry with olives and flower petals. Vegetables and seafood combinations are surprising and come alive. The corn dish was fave but cockles and whitefish made a spectacular combo as did black garlic dip that complemented house-made pocky sticks and perfectly crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside bread. We appreciated tasting fresh combinations of flavors that reflect the earthiness of the name — both the perfected dishes and those the chef is developing and taking new risks on. Excited for this team. Service was friendly and excellent. Hope to be back.

10/10We visited following a review we found in the NY Times whilst travelling on the Eurostar. 30 mins walk from Gare du Nord, I was relieved to rest for lunch, then BANG! I suddenly had the best food I had ever eaten in my life (I am 58 years old). This is the most amazing restaurant - we only had the 5 course sample menu, for dinner I would go for the 8 course, but everything was the best of the best. I recommend going now as a Michelin star will arrive very soon Do not miss the view through the floor into the basement - if you go you will know what I mean This place is the best of Paris, Europe, and the world in my view - totally superb!
