5/10This restaurant has particular dishes. But not very tasty. Some waiters are friendly some of them were horrible. Mixed experience. Would not go a second time.

9/10Overall, nice ambience and impeccable and unpressured service (not an eyelid batted that we are teetotal, for instance). It is mandatory to choose two mains, I chose Duck, and Shrimps. Between the two, that was quite filling, especially as 3 free small taster plates are provided too. All of the food was tasty, immaculately presented and with novel flavours. The single most memorable thing was actually the complimentary ultrathin crispbread with many carraway seeds embedded. I really liked that. Meeting the chef Cristina Bowerman afterwards was a nice treat, and I liked that she didn't ask me about the food because I'm such an airhead I would have clean forgotten what I'd just eaten in the moment, like a rabbit in the headlights. You can also buy two of her books at the restaurant. The only part of the decor that is not perfect is the (archaic and not used) door at the far right corner on the right .... it has rust flaking off it and looks like it would be in place on a long-abandoned ship. I'd replace that, it doesn't fit with everything else. For two people, if you're not boozers and just choose two mains like us, expect to spend about 150 euros total, and leave 15 for the service. So that's about the minimum you'd spend here. More with pudding, starter, or if you go for the tasting menu.

10/10The staff was very nice and welcoming. They helped us chose a wine that paired amazingly with the dishes. They were very accommodating with our food restrictions. The food was exceptional. Different textures using Italian dishes but putting a spin on them. Nice mixture of veggies, meats, and seafood. We took the tasting menu and the portions were just right. The head chef was so kind and greeted and chatted with every table. This was a new experience for us and was an extra touch that we were very appreciative of.

3/10An overpriced meal with low quality food and service. The worst meal we had in rome and I was surprised that it was rated on Michelin’s list.

Dear Daisy, you sent an email trying to cancel the reservation at 1.15 of the day of your reservation because your husband was not feeling well and asking not to be charged the no show fee. Then, when the no show fee appeared on your credit card, you called and ask to reinstate your reservation which we accepted (mistake we won't make again) and finally came. We were all very glad to see that your husband was perfectly fine. Since your first step into the restaurant your behavior was clearly hostile and your review is a revenge review. We would like for you to think for a second on how wrong it is to slam on professionals who work hard, study hard and do their best to make people happy. Even if it is for few hours.

5/10We expected more from this restaurant when rated as a One star Michelin establishment, but were disappointed over the food and service. BTW we had the Glass tasting menu. The wine list was very extensive and good. I compared this experience to another Michelin restaurant we visited in March in Porto Portugal, Antiqvvm, The Antiqvvm deserved 3 stars in comparison with Glass Hosteria. The price at both places was at the same level, as we had both tasting menues.

The staff was attentive and helpful, ensuring our special day was truly memorable. The menu took us on an astonishing journey. If you’re looking for an exceptional dining experience, this is the place to be. It was a perfect evening!

9/10The service was wonderful, but the food was not altogether what we expected for a Michelin star and $200 per person with the wine, some sparkling water, and espressos. We had the tasting menu - we were able to swap a couple of dishes between the regular and vegetarian tasting menus which was nice. A few of the dishes were amazing - especially the Parmesan Ravioli with Truffles. Other dishes were either under seasoned or needed acid or umami. If we were to go back I recommend the a la crate menu.

10/10Glass Hostaria is an oasis of refinement in the busy and trendy Trastevere neighborhood in Rome. My party of four elected the tasting menus: 2 standard and 2 vegetarian. It's important to note that the vegetarian tasting menu is NOT an afterthought. It's a testament to Cristina Bowerman's culinary vision and mastery of different culinary traditions that we were constantly arguing which of the tasting menus was better. The service was excellent and bilingual (Italian/English) and the wines suggested by the staff were all excellent. Cristina made the rounds and was very personable and happy to talk about everything she's been doing to promote female chefs. The space itself is beautiful without distracting from the meal. We left the restaurant feeling like we had had a tremendous meal at our friends house. What a great experience!

8.5/10Food was inventive, but not as tasty as we expected. The snails were a bit overcooked and buried in potato puree and the flavors did no always mesh that well in other ones. With that said, it certainly is a good restaurant, the wine list is small but interesting, and, again, this is a place of experimentation, which is always chancy, so we do appreciate it.

10/10We went for lunch on an extremely hot day. It was an exceptional experience. We had the tasting menu with the wine pairing and it was delightful. The service was excellent, and they kindly sat us right next to the AC vent, the coldest part of the room. Bravo!

10/10This restaurant is a MUST if you stop in Rome. The neighborhood of Trastevere only enhances the ambience and experience here. The staff is lovely and welcoming and the Chef is phenomal, implementing much of her personality into the dishes and the restaurant. The tasting course is a must here, with my favorites being the Donkey tartare, Childhood pasta, and Duck breast. I definitely be returning on my next trip!

10/10Wow! The dinner was fantastic. The 3 of us each tried the tasting menu. Every dish was special, the pastina took me back to my childhood and the duck was the best I’ve had. The sommelier was so friendly and passionate about their extensive wine list.

6/10This is a Michelin restaurant $250 euro per couple/no alcohol, I expected to have a much better experience. The food was blah with some exceptions. The decor was unexpectedly boring and old. Nice service though.

10/10My son ate at this restaurant a few years ago and recommended we try it when we were in Rome. It did not disappoint. The food was amazing, the staff were superb and we couldn't have had a better meal. We loved the food, the ambiance and the whole dining experience. We would highly recommend this restaurant to all of our friends.

3/10Italian food imo is about fresh ingredients and something nice made out of them. Italian food can go fancy (as is the concept of this restaurant) but it still needs to root back to the quality and purity of its ingredients. Dishes are heavily overloaded with tastes: lamb with gorgonzola, pork with pear.. At the same time they forget that a dish needs to be served hot. Ravioli all’amatriciana for 38 Euro? Will never be able to live up this price. Many types of bread (anyway not an Italian strength) to compensate the size of dishes? No thanks. This place is very expensive and doesn’t deliver a full picture. Service is refined and friendly. Food is artificially fancy. And the atmosphere is a clear zero. Tables next to the entrance and kitchen doors, glass tables which show every single finger print, no table cloth, artificial black schist dishes.. these are so 20 years ago! We left before dessert..

4/10The restaurant shows they accept for ForkPay. When I checked with the cashier again, they said they didn't. I told them I will report to the fork team. The waiter became rude. This is the worth experience I had in a Michelin restaurant. Speak about the food, it was just ok but not my type.

3.5/10We were very disappointed in the experience from walking into the restaurant to the very end. We made a reservation ahead of time including our food intolerances and when we got there they didn’t recognize our reservation nor did they help us accommodate or make choices based on our requests. We’ve dined at plenty of Michelin restaurants and this was by far the most difficult and unenjoyable.
