It was a little difficult to find being a tourist, but well worth it! You must get the wine pairing with the fixed menu. We had an incredible meal. One plate better than the next. One disappointment, we all thought the tortellini was just ok - compared to every other dish!

Glass Hostaria’s sophisticated modern architecture is an oasis of calm in Rome’s vibrant Trastevere neighborhood. Chef Cristina and her staff create and serve delicious food presented in a thoughtful and creative way. Both the Parmigiano Reggiano liquid Ravioli and the “Amatriciana” stuffed ravioli are not to be missed. The service is attentive yet unobtrusive and very knowledgeable and the attention to detail in choices of tableware are unique in their design and function. It was delightful restaurant in which to share a memorable meal with my sweetheart and a highlight of our trip to Italy.

Hello Dr. Lang, We usually don’t respond to reviews, as we respect everyone’s opinion. However, we are quite puzzled in this case. During your visit, you complimented several dishes: the waina (which the chef personally explained), the veal heart, the artichoke, and the pastas—one guest even said the ravioli was the best she had ever had. The chef also engaged with your table more than once, discussing both the food and the restaurant’s design (including the lamps you appreciated). You even asked for a picture with Chef! For these reasons, we are surprised by your assessment of both the food and the service, especially as no specific issues were mentioned. In a fully booked restaurant, interacting with a table multiple times already reflects a high level of attention. We would truly appreciate understanding what may have gone wrong.

We did the à la carte menu, the food and wine were average. The staff were attentive. The location made it that no taxi could drive to the door and it was raining!

Dear Azita, We are sorry to hear that you did not fully enjoy your experience at Glass. Your request of no meat, gluten, and dairy certainly placed significant limitations on the menu options and may have prevented you from experiencing the full range of our cuisine. We do appreciate you bringing the taxi issue to our attention. The shortage of taxis has been affecting the entire city of Rome for years, especially when it rains. Unfortunately, this is beyond our control, but we hope the situation will improve in the near future.

Amazing tasty experience. It’s a small place and the attention to detail and you as the customer is wonderful. We decided to go “off plate” and chose a number of plates outside the tasting menu (which also looked good) and truly provided our taste buds a great experience .

Great experience! We are trying to eat at all of the Michelin star restaurants in Rome and this one is not to be missed. Very approachable, without being too casual. The chef/owner creates some very unique dishes. The tasting menu was fantastic and quite filling with all of the accompaniments. While this is not a vegetarian restaurant they do offer a vegetarian tasting menu as an option. The service was immediate without being rushed. The wine list was phenomenal. fantastico!

Chef greeted us as soon as we arrived. The atmosphere was simple and modern. The wait staff were very attentive and explained each dish and wine pairing beautifully. Each course was excellent and surprising. The mini ravioli were a flavor explosion and a delight.
