7.5/10The 7 course Menu Gloria was very good. However, it was dissappointing that the service the rushed., Waiters twice came to (try to) remove the plates before we had both finished the plate; this apparatently because the next course was ready from the kitchen because the courses were served as if wanting to break a record. When booking on The Fork, you have to accept to finish the meal in two hours, but no need to rush the service so everything is done in one and a half hour. Are guests walking in without a reservation also told that they have to leave within two hours?

6/10We were underwhelmed by the food, given Nacho Manzano's reputation. Razor clams and octopus were drowned in sauces that were far too strong, and the deep fried artichokes were dry and tasteless. The restaurant feels tired and resting on its laurels. It needs refreshing.

5/10Service is polite and the place is clean The food is not edible We had to leave untouched the whole plate of fish. It was advertised as smoked, but in reality it was pure salt. The waitress offered her apology but not a substitute for the dish. We were charged for the food we didn’t eat, left hungry and thirsty It is extremely overrated and overpriced for the quality of the food

I had an excellent meal, it was lovely to have really interesting and unusual dishes - artichoke, baked sweet potato with like a lemon sabayon, chilli spider crab and then an amazing desert called Toncinillo which I can neither explain nor translate you just have to go and try it for yourself… superb setting and really nice staff who all made me feel very welcome :-)

4/10A very disappointing experience. We were a party of five. Some took the menu of the day and were utterly disappointed with the quality: a tomato salad as a starter, some meatballs at main dish, and a disgusting arroz con leche as desert. Others took some dishes like steak tartare, tiny, quite spicy and not particularly good. Took some deserts that also were not good at all. Not only it was poor value for money but taste was poor too. Probably one of the worst restaurants we've been to in Spain.

10/10This is our 5th time dining at Gloria in Oviedo by Nacho Manzano. Our first visit was in 2022, then several times in 2023 & again last night. The service provided by Jaime (Jimmy) & Johanna, the manager on duty was wonderful. They welcomed us back warmly, with true hospitality. We chose the 7 course Tasting Menu which included delights from the sea, land & garden. Delicious. A wonderful bottle of Godello capped off another memorable evening at this gem of a restaurant in Oviedo.....

6/10I had higher hopes for this restaurant based on reviews, but it was only ok. The fried artichokes were probably the one thing we enjoyed. Service was fine, and the food wasn't horrible, just not as expected- it had a very generic taste to it, almost chain-like.

8/10We came for lunch. For being a Michelin star restaurant I expected more. The appetizers were amazing….russian salad, croquettes, fried artichokes and the chicken cannoli! We then ordered the fish of the day…that came cold rubbery and undercooked. They were very nice to take it back and we ordered the steak. Like I said for a Michelin star restaurant that should not happen.

6.5/10Found the restaurant on Google and we were generally very pleasantly surprised. Eggplant dish was very good, and the croquet too were very good. Cod was excellent, however, chicken with rice was over salted. But still tasty. I think the most difficult part for me was the service. The waitress was in hyperdrive. Perhaps that is because we came in at oepning. But she spoke so quickly and was in a rush.

From service to food to ambience to attention and care, everything was amazing. Could eat here every day and never get tired of the endless options. Service was incredible too: every single person who helped us with food/wine/etc was incredibly friendly, helpful and extremely prepared. This is one of those places that make you understand why Spanish cuisine is one of the best in the world!
