Granoturco Bistrot remains a reliable destination for authentic Piedmontese cuisine, supported by a well-curated wine list. However, on this visit—our third in a year—the experience fell short of expectations. While the dishes maintained their usual quality, they lacked the finesse that once set them apart. The unchanged menu, with no seasonal inspirations, further dampened the sense of discovery. More concerning was the service. A 30-minute wait before receiving the menu—without even a glass of water—was disappointing, especially as two later-arriving tables were served first. The prosecco was poured into standard wine glasses, and small details, such as a paper napkin as breadstick holder instead of the elegant metal one seen elsewhere, underscored a lapse in hospitality. Granoturco Bistrot has all the makings of an excellent restaurant, but service must match the kitchen’s ambitions. A missed opportunity.

Dear Amalia, after reading Your list of disappoinments and opinions I personally find the need to answer to those confused points you mentioned. Reviewing a restaurant is a process that hopefully helps both sides to improve the final experience, from your words, feels like you Just had a bad day and we became a shoulder where to cry your sorrow. We have 30 sitting covers, a room of 15 mt lenght with 3 service staff and more than enough menu to distribuite to all guests. I personally came to ask for the water after 5 minutes you arrive. Next time respect the service sequence.Unless you wear the invisibile coat of Harry Potter, we'll give you the menu pretty fast.With more than 20 years of international experience, never heard of a dedicated Prosecco glass (common sparkling wine) before you. Maybe You have some secret sommelier knowledge you want to share with us? We are in April and of course Mother nature dictate the menu. That is why you can find morels mushroom, asparagus, cabbage, Black truffle and so on.
