8.5/10I loved that the restaurant was situated away from the main tourist traps, seating outside was good and inside seating and decor is also rather nice. Staff was nice , efficient and polite which , lets be honest , can be a challenge for some restaurants in Brussels. Food was average , not the best i have had but not the worst either . Considering the speed with which our food appeared I’m not surprised, if i could make one suggestion it would be to take your time and put a good quality dish on the table.

6/10We had Carbonnade Flamande which was delicious. However, the fries that were served with it were floppy and soft - very disappointing from a Belgian restaurant. The waiters insisted that it was not possible to pay by credit card - until we pressured them and then, suddenly, it was indeed possible.

Hello, In Belgium, it's not necessary to accept credit cards, and you must accept them. And you don't have to "pressured them". Next time, be respectful with the waiter and waitress. Yours sincerely

6/10This restaurant publishes prices at their website which are about 30% lower than the menu indicates once you are seated. This is misleading. We had two croquettes as a starter, a plain plate with some stew and mediocre fries, 1 glass of wine and paid 130 EUR for two. The food was served within 15 minutes , so the total dinner took us 45 minutes and we could leave.

7.5/10The food was good, a little expensive (the day after we ate similar food in a similar restaurante and the price was 30% lower). The restaurante doesn't work with Credit cards (something really weird in these days) and it does'n annoice the situation properly.

7/10The food was very good and tasty. We had jamboneau with mashed potatoes and it was excellent. There is some work to do with the attitude of the waiters, which is borderline with being rude and not caring.

10/10Grimbergen was a real find in Brussels! Great Moules Frites (garlic cream), great beer (Grimbergen Blonde), and terrific service. Reasonably priced as well. Recommended!

7.5/10Big portions and okay service. Nothing special but decent value for money. You’ll be seated quite close to a road if you’re outside but the street wasn’t too busy with cars.

5.5/10The food was just ok, not bad, but ok. It would be really good if The Fork had more real information on the booking site, like the fact that this restaurant does not accept Visa or Mastercards. I feel like this should be disclosed at booking.

10/10We went earlier than the reservation time. They didn't mind it. It was a very nice service and everything was very nice. We tried 3 dishes on the menu. All were delicious. Our favorite was the stew.

5/10It was a disappointing experience. They were not taking credit cards despite the credit card machine sitting on the bar next to the computer. The steak was undercooked and not very good. The fries were not fresh. Our kids didn't even eat them. The flemish beef stew was too thick.

10/10We had dinner at Grimbergen Café on our second day in Brussels. The good was delicious. We ordered mussels Provençal, which were excellent, carbonnade, a meat stew with a beer sauce, which was incredible and a very nice salad. The waitress was very friendly and recommended different types of beer. We had a lovely dinner at a very nice place. I highly recommend it.

4.5/10rarely drank such a bad wine. both the white wine and the rosé (served lukewarm!) were a disappointment. the food is mediocre at best. The service is okayish
