9/10Great food and wonderful little place to eat some authentic Belgian dishes! We tried the lapin and mussels, both very good and filling, we had escargot as appetizers and gauffre as dessert but it was way too much food 😄

7/10Nice interior and staff and and excellent location. The menu offers some traditional Flemish dishes, which is a nice touch. I had the ham with mustard sauce. The ham was excellently cooked and tasted delicious. The mustard sauce however was cold, and the French fries were mediocre. My partner had the mussels. Excellent choice, but a lot of butter in the sauce. So great location and ambiance, nice and friendly staff, good menu choice but mediocre food.

The best lunch in Bruxelles. Nice restaurant in a nice Place. Great service (fast and kind). Food was extraordinary. We tried 4 different local dishes, each 5 stars!!

2/10A warning that the Grimbergen Cafe does not accept Mastercard or Visa. The only cards it will accept are Bancontact and Maestro - otherwise you need to pay in cash. We'd booked as a group for an evening dinner and had to leave when we realised that most of us would have no way to pay. In 2025 and in a tourist area, this is very poor service.

10/10We went there to experience some local beer and Belgian favourites. We had the mussels and fries and flemmish stew. The mussels were Delish and the stew was incredibly good (and perfect on a rainy December evening). Would go there again in heartbeat.
