10/10Unbelievable food! The waiter, Francesco, is quite simply on another level in terms of the service he provided. You felt like royalty! Lovely restaurant, lovely food, lovely service.

10/10We visited the restaurant for our 20th Wedding anniversary. We frequently travel (both business & leisure) and enjoy good food & wine. We must honestly say, the dinner at the Guelfi & Ghibelini was outstanding! It started with fantastic service from Giulia and continued with excellent food! Great antipasti Fasana Beef Tartar), outstanding Primi (Maccaroni cinghiale in dolceforte) and divine Secondi (Guancia di manzo). Special mention to a side dish "Beans all' ucoletta", white beans with a touch of tomato & sage (which I could eat a whole "bucket" full). Great wines and the best dessert wine by a long way, "Muffato della Salad" from Umbria. We will surely return for more!!

9.5/10This was a very good experience with the food being excellent and in very good portions - contrary to some reviews I have read. The service was very professional and attentive also. We did feel however that the décoration was not in style with the building - no table cloths but apparent foldable tables with black leather chairs under a stunning stuccoed ceiling in a palace- this would be an overall stunner if the décoration was a little more in synch with the amazing service and overall architecture and an easy fix too. We highly recommend this experience .

10/10Beautiful, delicious, great service! Located inside a 5 Star Relais & Chateau hotel in the center of Florence. Unfortunately we are and drank a lot all day, so we did not get to fully enjoy the wonders of this amazing restaurant! Perfectly cooked handmade pasta - the best we had in Italy! 100 stars

9/10Excellent service - attentive, knowledgeable and good humoured without being fussy. Good wine recommendations. Nice room with few tables and calm atmosphere (almost too quiet unless you are on a date/romantic dinner like the other guests seemed to be). Food was very good, particularly starters and primi piatti (as often is the case in Italy). Main courses maybe a little more bland.

10/10The atmosphere is very fascinating and elegant. The dining hall is right next the music hall so you can witness the live music shows happening next door while tasting some of the best creations in town by Chef Niccoló De Riu. Check the octopus and beef tartare as starters and don’t miss the parmigiano and truffles dessert which is the result of the creative mind of the chef. We’ll be back for sure!

10/10Incredible service, food and experience. The chef offered us many tastings off the menu. We got the best table for two, at a mini balcony, very romantic. Make sure you try the scallops and the coffee risotto!

6.5/10The restaurant is on the second floor of the hotel in a very nice setting. However, there is an independent Michelin rated restaurant on the main floor which is a bit confusing. We were underwhelmed with the main course. We looked on their website before going and the menu published on their site was a different menu from what we were given in the restaurant. We were told by the waiter that the menu was just for Easter weekend. My wife was not happy that the main course she had wanted was not on the menu once we got there.Also,the portions were very small.

5.5/10The interior design is outstanding with very nice Jazz and blues that I personally enjoyed a lot :) Because of the beautiful set-up I expected a lot more from the taste of food they offer, food-staging is perfessional on pictures but I wasn't satisfied with the taste of food. The price is the same range with 1-starred Michelin in Florence but the taste still has a long way to go (if you're a gourmet food-lover like I am). Service is hotel standard.

10/10I didn't realise it was a hotel restaurant when I booked, and we were the only diners, but it really was an experience to remember. The setting, the service and of course the food, were outstanding. To make things even better, we received a 30% Fork discount which made it amazing value for money
