If you love the true Italian atmosphere and authentic pasta, this is a place you absolutely must visit. The food is outstanding, the pasta is simply excellent, and the service is premium – attentive, professional, and very welcoming. We were extremely satisfied and would definitely come back again. Highly recommended!

+5Tucked away just below the Duomo in Salerno Is this gem with Roman dishes. Service starts with a lambrusco aperitivo which we sipped while checking thru the short menu. We tried the bruschetta mix where they had prepared the bread with 4 different pasta sauce preparations. Here the carbonara was my favorite. On another visit we had the Cacio e Pepe Chips where regular potato chips become fancy with a drizzle of a cheesy gravy. Cacio e pepe as a regular dish was top notch and the Bucatini Amatriciana was also solid-delivered with pepper flakes on the side to ramp it up from bland to on fire as you would like it. Fettuccine alla papalina was close to a carbonara taste. But the true winners were the alla Romanas -Gnocchi (more like potenta) and Spinach (with pine nuts and raisins). Unique preparations carefully made with fresh ingredients. Wine list was short but we found calice (cups) we liked.

The food was excellent. The pistachio Panna cotta was the best Panna cotta we've ever had. The pasta noodles tasted home made. Everything was delicious

Very nice restaurant in the heart of Salerno city. It's located in a old building giving a vibe of the history of the city. The staffs are very friendly and welcoming. The dishes were absolutely delicious. Definitely recommended.

Food was simple but very tasty, house made desserts which is always good. Very friendly staff, quiet restaurant away from the crowds. Great atmosphere and a really enjoyable night

The staff were kind, attentive, and well-prepared, giving us clear and friendly explanations about the dishes they served. You could truly feel the authenticity of Roman cuisine both in the flavors and the way it was presented. Portions could perhaps be slightly more generous, but overall they were satisfying. The plating was elegant, and the use of crystal glasses added a classy touch to the table setting. The only small downside was the bread, which seemed to have been sliced a bit in advance — likely affected by the heat, resulting in a slightly gummy texture. But that’s something that can happen and didn’t take away from the overall experience. The food was truly delicious — compliments to the chef! ❤️ And what made the evening even more special were the warm, genuine smiles of the two young women working there. A truly memorable and delightful dining experience.

Had our last dinner in Salerno here. We were so impressed by the service upon arrival - we were offered an aperitif and greeted with enthusiasm. And the food was absolutely stellar - authentic Roman pastas, no frills, simple menu with high quality execution. We loved our side of grilled veg too. Three pastas between us and a panna cotta, so stuffed we absolutely couldn’t move. Highly recommend

Dining in this restaurant was a pleasant experience. Nice atmosphere, service is fast, friendly and professional. The a la carte menu includes authentic Roman dishes (for example Coda alla vaccinara). Highly recommended.

The restaurant was quaint and the staff were amazingly kind and friendly. The food was incredible, especially the white chocolate cake with berries!!! Highly recommend eating there. We would go back in a heartbeat!!!

Restaurant is hard to find but when you do it, it leaves you speechless. rustic decoration and beautiful Roman atmosphere. Authentic food. Highly recommend but make sure you book because il a little hidden gem

The restaurant is “off the beaten path”. Which we prefer. The food was delicious! My cousin said that the Cacio Pepe was the best she ever had. The Saltimbocca was excellent. The service was great and the desserts were amazing (tiramisu and a cherry ricotta tart that the owner makes with her grandmother)! Definitely recommend this if you are in Salerno.

So authentic! The menu is short and has the best traditional Italan pasta options. One of the best pastas I’ve had in my life. Absolutely recommend!

Very special place. Old building and minimalistic decoration which perfectly fits the atmosphere they want to create. Very friendly staff and guests are welcomed with a appetitive. Then the food: EXCELLENT! Best pasta we had so far and please try the saltimboca ala Romana. They take the time for the guests and after our dinner the chef came out of the kitchen to meet us. Please try this restaurant!
