If you love the true Italian atmosphere and authentic pasta, this is a place you absolutely must visit. The food is outstanding, the pasta is simply excellent, and the service is premium – attentive, professional, and very welcoming. We were extremely satisfied and would definitely come back again. Highly recommended!

+5Tucked away just below the Duomo in Salerno Is this gem with Roman dishes. Service starts with a lambrusco aperitivo which we sipped while checking thru the short menu. We tried the bruschetta mix where they had prepared the bread with 4 different pasta sauce preparations. Here the carbonara was my favorite. On another visit we had the Cacio e Pepe Chips where regular potato chips become fancy with a drizzle of a cheesy gravy. Cacio e pepe as a regular dish was top notch and the Bucatini Amatriciana was also solid-delivered with pepper flakes on the side to ramp it up from bland to on fire as you would like it. Fettuccine alla papalina was close to a carbonara taste. But the true winners were the alla Romanas -Gnocchi (more like potenta) and Spinach (with pine nuts and raisins). Unique preparations carefully made with fresh ingredients. Wine list was short but we found calice (cups) we liked.

10/10Very nice restaurant in the heart of Salerno city. It's located in a old building giving a vibe of the history of the city. The staffs are very friendly and welcoming. The dishes were absolutely delicious. Definitely recommended.
